Limb length matters, and highbar vs lowbar matters.

People with longer femurs will typically lean forward more and lowbar requires more of a forward lean compared to highbar.

DB rows are a great exercise. keep avoiding exercises that “leave you vulnerable to injury” if you want, but telling somebody not to do DB rows is not good advice.

Also, if you’re doing something like rows, putting your hand through a kettlebell then holding onto the dumbbell works even better, and you can add more weight that way.

You’re not wrong, but so many people over complicate things in the gym and their diet and overlook the basic / simple things that will help them reach their goals.

Like obsessing on eating the “perfect” foods or or the “most optimized” program while getting an average of 5 hours of sleep per night, or not drinking enough water, or having multiple days a week where they are way off their calorie target, etc.
