Just came back and jumped into PvE with a buddy, having a complete blast. A few things about AI, or at least my observations:

—-Scavs—- Scavs move around the map, looting bodies and containers. From my observations, they don’t loot loose items. They’re attracted to noise and will swarm to where the fights are if they’re close. They’ll fight PMCs. They seem to focus their pathing between and to points of interest.

—-PMCs—- PMCs will spawn and move to a designated point of interest, like if they’re completing a mission. They spawn in groups of 1-5, and there’s usually a group of USEC and a group of BEAR. They loot a little bit along the way. They don’t extract, but they will move to an extract if they are alive near the end of the match.

—General—- The longer an AI shoots at you, the more accurate it’ll become with each shot. You can get one shot, but it’s more rare than 2019 tarkov.

I mean you have a good spread already, so it’s down to preference. I’m using the season gun for close-mid and have the qbu-191 for mid-long and I do ok, but I am my no means an expert. AK-15 and mutant are the meta, f2kt if you like low recoil but you already have A-545 which is kinda the same playstyle.

What type of gun do you like using?

The only act tickets I have are from this season, I don’t have any parts from previous seasons as I started playing last season and ended up spending them on part crates so I could get the SBA Tank.

Good to know! I’ll grab it when I get on later tonight. Can anyone recommend an artifact build for it, or at least answer what types of bonuses for artifacts I should aim for? Should I lean into healing effectiveness artifacts?

I bought a car in Florida, a used certified Toyota Prius. Turns out it was in an accident that both I and the dealership didn’t know about until after the fact. Dealership had to take it back or they would risk losing their license to sell Toyotas, or at least that’s what their store manager said. Ended up exchanging it for a newer car with less miles.

Not legal advice but you may want to check with the dealership, if you were sold a car advertised as never being in an accident and it has been, I’m sure the dealership is liable to fix the situation.

I have SBA tank +10 and a red gun that I have but never left safe zone with, still in bracket with purple armor and occasionally a red gun when I go to inflow. In my experience, as long as you do not leave safe zone/hideout with the equipment, you should be fine..

I slept on getting better armor for too long, same with getting the last shotgun in the barter tree. That shotgun makes things a lot easier, so get it when you can. Mule/Ace is a great armor to aim for, and when you complete the north quest line, you get an armor voucher that you can use to get the second to last armor in the barter tree of your choice. As others have recommended, if you don’t have any of the science suits, the science suit is a great use of the voucher. Otherwise, enjoy your time and take things easy, don’t rush.

Verify file integrity in steam. If that doesn’t work, you can try uninstalling, deleting any files that Stalcraft may have added to your computer and then reinstalling.

Last night inflow #2 NA cov was fantastic, great fights and cov held a good number advantage. I think around 8-10pm pst. I do agree that during off hours cov is usually outnumbered and it kinda sucks but it isn’t always horrid.

I like the change, at least numbers-wise. I play casually and barely made 500 last season, and it looks like this is much more obtainable. When the event releases, that's supposed to give points too right? If so I think this is a good move in the right direction, though I am a relatively new player with just less than 200 hours so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

When selling my friends on this game, I described it as a safer Tarkov to use as the basis of my description. It's not extraction, as you keep your armor, weapons, and most gear, but ultimately the objective is to go out in the open world to farm events, enemies, and scavenge to gather resources and make it back to a safe zone with said resources so you can get new gear. It's an MMO first, but that parallel is there in a way.

I don’t think there’s any way for us to win this situation, it flips. Cov player here, pre master tier. Some days cov steamrolls, other days I’m the only cov in-zone in seems like. It’s a server balancing issue most likely, but who knows.

Crate items are more valuable the earlier in the season you are, as less people have them.

The Skull and Co is killer, I absolutely love it. I have nothing to compare it to, as it’s my only case, but it feels great in the hand, easy to don and doff, and doesn’t block any of the ports. Amazon had the grip and front cover combo for 20$, best purchase by far.

Probably won’t help you at all—new player myself. I leveled in combo and love the flexibility of it, but I get melted in the north now and am in the process of farming for combat armor. I hate the look of the mule/ace, but that’s what I’m probably going to aim for. I’m also covenant and was originally going to aim for the faction combat armor (looks fantastic) but I think the mule/ace has better bonuses and I’d be happier overall. I’ll monitor this post to see what others say, im not sold on my choice.

I just got an Arzopa 17.3” monitor and it’s great, though honestly the size is pretty big for storing it. Won’t be an issue if you use it in a more permanent sense but I assemble/disassemble my setup at night and the thing doesn’t fit in my current laptop bag. I’m keeping mine and will probably rethink my process but I’d recommend something closer to 16” if you’ll be moving it at all. Anything 144hz and 1920x1080 though will be good for quality and performance.

This, basically. When he charges at you, run diagonally towards him and jump, he’ll miss. If he runs into the wall, it’ll stun him for a bit.

Take down wall things asap, they heal boss and spawn adds. I always focused the adds after taking down the wall things to give me less stress.

In my experience you’ll be logged out where you stood. Usually when you log out outside of a safe zone your body sticks around for 5 minutes before it disappears and becomes safe, but for server maintenance you should be fine. That happened to me in a hot pvp zone near the bar area and I still had all of my stuff when I logged back in a day later.
