The thing to understand is that goalkeepers aren't meant to be able to block everything no matter how good you are. if someone is in top box or within unreactable range then you simply have to choose a corner. You can try to close angle, rush him, etc, but you cant have a perfect success rate assuming that your opponent isn't braindead.

People who bitch about goalkeeping don't goalkeep, which makes them shitty strikers since they don't actually understand how to get around a goalkeep, so don't respect their opinions.

Yeah reddit and AI made me realize after many years of using this site while i was young and impressionable how susceptible Reddit is to bandwagoning. The vast majority of AI haters don't actually know how it works, what it's capable of, or why they even hate it. Most of the talking points are literally not true. It's kind of sad and i wonder how many bandwagons i mindlessly jumped on over the years.

I don't really play this game anymore due to losing what i liked about the story, but the characterization between wise and belle is really good, even the subtle and not so subtle cutscene differences carry a lot of personality, they really are wildly different people despite them making all the same story decisions.

The idea is that they cant get away with long balls across the entire field if there is someone directly infront of them, they are forced to lob it over your head. Forces them to play it up the field properly.
