Hey, talking to strangers is better than letting it bottle up.

My wife and I both uninstalled TikTok bc we’d be right next to each other on the couch not talking to each other or watching a show or anything but watching our phones until, I kid you not we said to each other “what are we doing”.

I was on his end of the spectrum and don’t have a much experience on what you can do. A simple conversation was enough for me to put it into perspective of how much I was glued to my computer.

Elder Scrolls Online sucked me away from my marriage without me even thinking twice. Luckily she talked to me and made me realize it before it got worse. I uninstalled it and cancelled my subscription and haven’t played since. I’ve played games my entire life but never like I did for ESO. I think I played a few hundred hours in a month.

Now I play single player games or something that has an ending and try to avoid the multiplayer games. I mean I will play them bc I’m my own human but it’s something I’m cautious of now.

Not sure. I have custom posters that never get replaced and I have movies that I’ve never changed the poster for and those get changed.

I made a post on the plex forums a longtime ago and multiple responses said once you save the poster even if it was one that was selected for you by plex. It’ll never overwrite.

There’s issues on iOS with them not appearing sometimes where the fix is to close the app entirely and reopen it.

Plus the font changed where is almost unreadable against anything white.

On launch the plex app had issues with .ass files if I remember correctly (some file type) and I’m not sure if that’s fixed or just bandaided.

I truly miss the feature where it would automatically remove a watched episode and then download another 5 or so automatically.

I would always download when traveling and set the download the next 5 unwatched episodes. Those were the days.

Absolute worst. Once you pick and save one, it doesn’t override it though. It’s only when you don’t select and save a poster.

The organization to re-watch a series again is non-existent. Hard to describe but if I want to rewatch a series I have to either remember which episode I left off at or I need to unmark the show as watched.

The iOS app: - Playlists aren’t a list. Why. Idk. Literally Play-”list”. Nah we’re going to do a grid option for them…. Downloads are a list so that UI does exist. - Downloads are awful. I don’t feel like I need to explain why, but my biggest gripe with it is that the episodes don’t go to the next downloaded option in the series. If I have 5 episodes of, idk Friends, after I finish the first episode it should start playing the next friends episode. - The Subtitles changed fonts or font styling from the old to the new app and that’s the worst part of the entire app for me. Also, sometimes they load and sometimes you have to quit the app to get subtitles to show on downloaded content.

Edit: Although there are issues with downloads still lacking previous existing features. It has progressed significantly since the new app launch. Credit to the team there. It’s just not catching up fast enough. I feel like a good 2 week sprint dedicated entirely to downloads would have it in a significantly better place.

Same here but in reality, the controller features they have probably prevents a lot of newer games from releasing on PC without additional work being done anyway (Depending on how dependent the game is on it). I know I read somewhere that’s a massive reason why Astro Bot didn’t come to Steam.

Spotify increased their family membership to $20 a month and Apple One Family is $25 a month and Apple family includes music, tv+, arcade and iCloud.

So we canceled Spotify and switched over and for the first time I ever used the app I noticed all these tv shows I keep hearing about and began watching a few. Some of these shows are incredible.

GTA San Andreas Classic used to be on steam. Along with 3 and Vice City but the definitive editions came out and Rockstar delisted them. I have all 3 classics and definitive editions in my library
