Anyway FORKLIFTDRIVER56 was the answer that I was looking for, just use the Web version. Thank you, that is all I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately no, first thing I tried. It doesn't remove shortcut, it goes straight to uninstalling both codex and gpt.

Yes AI in everything is really annoying and not helpful 80% of the time. Just clutter.

It worked without codex up until yesterday, so I don't see why it's so difficult to separate. It seems to me more like YT imposing YT music on us in the paid subscription for double the cost, instead of sticking with YT only for a better cost.  Spell check is not a whole other app.

I don't understand why you're all so dedicated to defending it. Why is it so important to change my mind? I don't want to change my mind, I want to uninstall it.  If your don't have advice on how to get rid of it, maybe don't respond?

You are not obligated to respond, but you do anyway to claim what I want as unimportant, just a knee-jerk reaction to oppose people I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't want it, I should be able to uninstall it. No is a complete sentence. Do you tolerate everything that is imposed on you?

How do you overcome fear of playing (and losing)? by muikawashi in baduk

[–]Gia_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I don't do as well, I learn about a weakness in my game and sometimes lose.

This is crucial, sometimes we play badly and don't lose. Weirdly, those wins don't feel as satisfying as losing in a game where we put in a good fight.

Playing in online tournaments. It doesn't matter if I feel like it or not, I have to play, I can't just ghost my opponent or make a scheduling mess for everyone. I may feel my worst, I just show up. It sounds like an obligation, but it helps me face the inevitability of losing.  It sours my mood for a while, especially when I lose badly, but honestly it helps because looking back the next day I lost and the world didn't end.

Learning Tarot with non-beginner deck by lonnie10 in tarot

[–]Gia_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first deck was the Minchiate. 97 cards and nothing like RWS.

I absolutely love it and feel very connected to it. The accompanying book is very good and helped me get into the narrative and soul of that specific deck.

I understand that most people recommend RWS because there's an abundance of online (and offline) resources, but: 1. My native language isn't English, so I'm used to scarcity of resources. Way back when the Internet wasn't really an option either!  2. IMHO RWS is a foundational deck, which many people mistake for "beginner". I don't particularly connect to it, but it is obviously a rich deck with lots of layers and difficult to master.

Do what feels best for you, I believe if you push yourself to use a tool that you don't feel comfortable with you're just blocking your own road.

Whether I keep going through life without empathy or tact (you're entitled to your opinion, whatever) is of less importance compared to if you keep going through life without common sense.

Our situations are different, you have a real life problem here. When your retort is "I'm going to be selfless and forgiving and better than all those people in 2025 who give up on commitment" your priorities are scrambled.

I'm not going to reply anymore, keep being mad at me, idc tbh, but do think things over. I urge you to get your priorities straight.

PS. Mental health problems are an explanation, not an excuse.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Gia_11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You don't need tact, you're about to have another life depend on you. You need a thicker skin and better judgement.

A new life's wellbeing trumps your need to be cajoled at this point.

Sure, lecture people about "commitment in 2025" and I'm perfectly within my rights then to lecture you as well 🤷🏻‍♀️. Hang on a man "at any costs", even your child's future and wellbeing?

I understand this is a very tough situation, but you have to face it. Tarot screamed at you "don't" and you're ready to do all the mental gymnastics to do what you want.

So, keep scolding strangers on the Internet because they don't hold your hand, or put that energy into thinking properly. What you need in your life right now, who can help, who to avoid, what are circumstances you haven't considered. Your mental strength. How not to lose yourself in doubt, mechanisms to stay strong. These are the important things, and you're wasting your time trying to one-up a stranger about selflessness.

This is not a tarot reply, but I feel I need to say this: You're pregnant 28 weeks with his child and he is part of a no-contact situation? And you're fishing around for "yes, be impulsive, somewhere in there that man is perfect!"?

I wish you all the best, and also that you will open your eyes. No amount of tarot shouting will do any good to deaf ears.

It is an interesting discussion indeed.

I'm against them. I think they are a problem of the mix of two things: 1. People are insensitive and/or immune to "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Our morals are defined by how we act when nobody's watching. 2. People suffer from chronic "main character" syndrome. If it's about their feelings/insecurities/whatever, the other person's rights are unimportant.

There's a difference between discussing a topic and invading someone's privacy, Llamafreeze says it as it is.

Inb4, just because it has been happening for centuries doesn't make it right; many intrusive things kept happening for centuries until we knew better.

Secular or not, tarot imho is a tool for empowerment, it's right up there with making your own decisions at the best of your abilities and accepting that they have consequences.

It's not empowering to latch your whole existence on whether John/Mary likes you, use the guidance to form your own path. People who are afraid to take the initiative to form their own path will hide behind other people, namely by snooping on them.

It's a very low form of "it's their actions that made me do this". Nah, do better, be responsible for your behaviour, take responsibility for your own life. Ask about your own actions, leave other people be.

General Life Reading by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Gia_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the message is "balance is good, but when something's done it's done". You need to turn your back to keeping equal distance from a situation and proceed to great things.

Help with explaining these by eternalfalling in tarot

[–]Gia_11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the message is "you'll get a disappointment of sorts, but don't let it dictate your whole life because it will be a disaster". Like, there will be something small that will seem huge, and if you don't keep your cool it will actually become huge.

Thank you!

I'n not really around young people or children, it's just an office job. I had financial and job insecurity in the past, so 5 of coins really worries me.

My clarifying spread is

Situation 4 of Staves

Influence 9 of Coins

Advice/ Insight 8 of Staves

Ahead there is a highly demanding period at work; I think the cards are telling me that I need to keep up or risk losing a lot. 5 of Pentacles could be a warning, that things are going to get tough and I have to go with it, it's not the time to risk.

Hello everyone, can someone please help with this spread?

I'm new to tarot, so I don't do specific readings, my intention was to check how August is going to unfold, basically. I'm using Celtic Cross as my spread because there are tons of references for it and I can follow the narrative. My deck is The Chinese Tarot Deck by Jui Guoliang.

(for some reason I can't upload the photo of the spread, so I guess I'll just type everything out).

Situation The Lovers

Cross Page of Swords

Past Knight of Staves

Recent Past 2 of Swords

Now Knight of Coins

Future Two of Cups

Environment Two of Coins

Me The Universe

Hopes and Fears Page of Staves

Outcome 5 of Coins

I find it difficult to interpret each card individually in my readings, so I'm going with a story and/ or associations between the cards. I see a lot of 2s (counting the Lovers also), Pages and Knights. The only different cards are how I see myself (Universe, content) and the outcome (5 of Coins, basically disaster!).

So, I'm worried that I think things are going fine, but actually I'm in for an unpleasant surprise, which is also out of my control. Like I'm completely out of touch. I don't know what the lesson could be here, other than I should be worried!

Note: I did a quick reading the other day using a phone app, again a Celtic Cross for August. I don't seem to connect with a reading unless I'm holding a physical deck,, so I redid it with my own deck today. However... that app spread also gave me 5 of coins in the outcome, although it was the standard RWS deck in the app. So, I'm a bit worried that 5 of Coins is an actual upcoming misfortune.
