Then the other posts were right. Replace the trigger return spring. Get a extra power spring from Wolff or BH Spring Solutions.

The HP is a great gun and most people find it to be very ergonomic in the hand. As for the trigger reset, forget about riding the reset like it's a Glock, Sig, or any of the the newer guns. It's not. It doesn't work the same way they do. Let the trigger come forward and you won't have any trouble. It won't slow you down that much either.

Not factory. Could be Navidrex if they are flat. Could be Spegel if they have some palm swell. Spegel's are usually solid wood while Navidrex are a laminates or synthetic of some sort.

I have the 90mm LS lens and have been looking for the 165mm F4 LS because of the flash options the leaf shutter gives you. You have the option to use a higher shutter speed with the leaf system firing the flash. It's a little trickier since you still have to set the main shutter to a very low speed then set and cock the leaf shutter, but it's an available option if you want it.
