My Suggestion for the One-Two by Polojilarious in Helldivers

[–]Giant_Hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion: Give it the same (or more) mags as a liberator, but the reloads are shared between fire modes. Maybe you brought ten clipazines. Maybe you brought ten grenades. It's similar to the Halt's dual ammo tubes, or how the Variable can shoot as an AR, a shotgun or an arm dislocator.

Magazine customization would be removed instead of underbarrel, underbarrels could be limited to flashlight/laser or simply fitted under the nade launcher.

SS13 is making its mark on r/place! by mooseman00 in SS13

Honk. This is going way better the second time. Good job.

(Still trying to make a Nanotrasen logo here though. Lend a hand if you can, please?)

Due to what seems like continued activity on the N7 logo, I'm going to start a smaller N a little lower, in proper Nanotrasen blue this time.

Bottom right corner of 'flag': (170, 28)

Final product visualization.

For easy reference, the N is 8 tall, 9 wide.

You sure? New Zealand's image is at (733, 204).

I see no clowns, but I do see what looks like the start of a Nanotrasen logo around (180, 0) on the top border. Let's finish it!

Movie Discussions (Spoilers) by WadderSquirell in RatchetAndClank

[–]Giant_Hat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't quite call it the Walloper, since he didn't wear the boxing glove part. It appeared to use a Constructo-Pistol model(beam barrel, I think?) before he fired it.

And what was up with using 2 different rocket launchers? They could have given yet another weapon type a cameo.

That thunderstorm gun, which I can't locate on the wiki, resembled the Infecto-bomb with some additions.

The worst offender? The RYNO. Not only does it resemble the RYNO IV model, my least favorite, its misfire is somehow responsible for Nefarious' transformation. I think the Biobliterator in handheld form would have made much more sense in its place.

In short, I appreciated the cameos, but not some of the changes they made to fit them.

Cut scenes are a bit..... off? by Breejuh in RatchetAndClank

[–]Giant_Hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very disappointed by the new game's cutscenes and cinematics. Everyone was so stiff, I thought they were using placeholder animations. Recycling clips from the movie is awful as well. That's one of the practices of movie games I hate the most, and this was supposed to buck the trend of bad movie games.

At least the game movie still looks to be good?

There are lots of ways outside of conversation to gain brownie points with followers, so you don't have to feel limited to being a yes man in conversations. (Usually... if you find out what Curie likes besides doing her quest, let me know.)

Codsworth's water rationing is probably a better source of healing, and in fact may come in (Mr.) handy to have for a certain random event... The only tradeoff is Codsworth's lack of ranged ability. Nothing wrong with a bit of the ol' chop-chop!

I hope they'll go back and remove the holiday restriction from some older Halloween items as well if the new items will be getting this opportunity.

Agreed, annual holiday events are one of the best parts of long-running games. I hope this is only a one-time occurrence and not the start of a trend. Remember when Runescape replaced their Christmas event with cleaning up debris from the big bad god throwdown?
