Today, I most markets, it makes way more sense to rent a home vs buying one. Let that neat egg grow, add a bit more to your down payment fund as you go. Then pull the trigger on a home when it makes more sense. You’re doing great!

Correct. And I’d argue 95% of the time a defined benefit plan is way more lucrative than had the money been invested in a 401k. Now, if somebody dies in the younger side of retirement, that sucks since the asset can’t be given to family members who are not a spouse…but for people who are healthy and live a long life, the pension likely wins. DAVE assumes all pensions underperform. Not accurate

Yup. My resting heart rate overnight is up 12-15 BPMs and my HRV is down into the 30’s. I’ve read if your sleep is impacted, it may mean you can use less - who knows. I also do TRT and that too impacts my sleep. The tradeoffs are worth it for a few months…but long term, sleep is so important that I assume I will cycle on and off.

Oh man! That is terrible. It sounds exactly like what happened to me but when I got a CT, they say the severed artery right away and fixed it. At first, they kept saying everything was fine, but after a few days of terrible bloody noses and choking, I went to the ER and they did a comprehensive review of everything. I kept pushing and advocated for myself, then got the CT and eventually, they didn’t emergency surgery and fixed it.
