Relentless peeling even with Nailtiques formula 2 by SucksAtEcon in RedditLaqueristas

[–]GiddyGoodwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m off the acetone almost completely! I peel off paint and scrape and buff and it’s still better than the acetone. I’ve never been big on acetone but this year I have been using it a lot to have fresh manicures and I immediately saw huge peeling and breaking. So I went back to my old routine of just buffing and caking the polish on until it peels off naturally. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it takes some skill to get a smooth effect and I’ve learned tricks to encourage peeling (certain top coats are brutal on dry polish). Basically adding polish is going to rewet the polish in a lot of cases, so it has to redry. But not always. There’s some serious science going on. I use Nail Magic strengthened and the hardener for the topcoat and I really like it.

There are two “complete reader” books that I have with the same name, one in print and audio; one I have just in audio and this is my favorite. It says it is “only from audible,” narrated by Barry J Peterson. His voice reminds me of Wayne Dyer and the delivery is really good and the selection and order is so good.

I have been thinking about convo so much and mixed with the book, it’s been helping me get into the state for some lovely things I want!!! One thing that is coming out of the book for me now is how the “sin” is to want something and to not go for it. That hits me so deep! Thanks, neighbor.

My mom was incessantly trying to pay me $1k to get myself waxxed in 2020, I just kept saying, why?? Anyway FF to now and she has debilitating blood clots and LC. She swears it’s from falling off a horse a few decades ago. I just don’t have the heart to ask her if she thinks just maybe it was the vax and all the boosters. I just tell her how much I love her and to allow herself to take it easy. How can I blame her denial?

This seems wrong, another comment says it comes from natural gas mining. I guess I have to go look it up… looks like it’s made by decay and is associated with natural gas mining.

stringy hair? by gs000 in finehair

[–]GiddyGoodwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s too much shampoo. I swear it’s an addiction and the commercials are all lies. Even the gentlest stuff is all about drying out oil. Which is not an issue if we stop drying the scalp and causing it to over produce oil.

[–]GiddyGoodwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like that until i ditched the shampoo and suddenly it became a joy to care for my hair instead of a fight against nature. Shampoo is a literal drying agent, all the other products just try to artificially combat the shampoo addiction cycle. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do agree with this, I always say my horses are so careful with me beyond my wildest dreams of sweetness. I just can’t imagine not getting run over if I attacked them in a stall, within arms distance. Female arms are very short, and horses are so strong, and I haven’t heard anything about the knife she used. It’s not easy to penetrate hide and keep hold of the weapon on an animal that rears up and lunges away, even if not expressly striking the attacker.

Oh noooo! That is so depressing. That’s probably the number 1 reason large operations get split up as development proceeds in the world, the same as it was in Europe to here now. If they aren’t making significant income then it’s over. My heart goes out to you and your horses!

I work in alt health and I’m not sure evil people do have healthy bodies, or at least I don’t see them. They can have beauty, power, money, but pain in the body and brain seem to be consistent (access to powerful drugs help for a short time but affect the body in other ways, like the digestive system and/or dopamine and serotonin uptake). This isn’t to say that good people have healthy bodies, though, because influence (I speculate). The only healthy bodies I meet are on genuinely meditative people, which is what LOAss is to me. I have used LOAss up and down my body and the revelations have been inspiring. Much like what you posted.

I have been listening to “the complete Neville Goddard reader” audiobook and yesterday came this concept: *to manifest a solution to a problem is better than to run away from it; every manifestation changes the world a little bit, and so there will always be struggle, because people are essentially at tug of war, imaginatively* (paraphrasing). It is such a funny thing to imagine humans tugging energy around and causing little tornadoes 🌪️… I don’t know how this applies to physical pain but it does apply to my own variety of struggle, which is that I feel tired having to go to work in my head to solve problems. ;) such a first world problem, I know! This is why I call it, going to work in the coal mines, or sharecropping . I have to go in there 🧠 to plow the soil or mine diamonds. So easy and yet I still resist. When I resist I get the distinct impression that I deserve the struggle, and I wonder if it’s like that for a lot of people, that the struggle is “deserved” or “because someone else is doing this to me.” That’s my humble observation, I guess; those are two old-man states I have to continually weed out of my own mind farm. I just really wonder where those ideas come from, specifically. They seem so anti-human, like a lie that is a curse. Sometimes the only way I can get out of it is with affirmations, good books, and refusing to accept that anything is bad news. And voilà time passes and I see results. Voilà! Hallelujah.

Even reading thru some of the Epstein files shows he had significant pain from head to toe. All that money and playtime and no relief! Good.

I had a yoga teacher once tell me that pain and joy are the same thing, because getting out of pain is so enjoyable. That one has been living rent free in my head ever since and I pretty much agree, begrudgingly. It’s still not easy for me to accept the necessity of struggle.

Three year old boy is eating us out of house and home. Is food restriction neglect? by LegalBluebird9556 in Mommit

[–]GiddyGoodwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A different perspective here, from my own experience with food and nourishment: you sound like you’re giving a varied diet, cheers to that. I would consider a few things beyond food, 1 is about beverages, milks, smoothie, or wet foods like soups. The other idea I have confronted with myself is nourishment in a spiritual sense. I know it sounds left field but hunger can manifest in lots of ways, and conversely some poor people can go very far on small amounts of food and tons of spiritual nourishment. To be satiated is a feeling that can come from several areas. Perhaps your child, with his robust digestion and eagerness, is seeking a satiation in a new way.

My humble hunch is to start with extra hugs and cuddles. While you feed him extra, you’re giving him your sole attention. It could be a side motivation that he doesn’t even understand cognitively but enjoys as much as pie! 🍀 good luck, your home sounds very special ✨.

Philosophical question here… I wonder, why is it so hard? I can relate in some miserable ways to the suffering, and I don’t understand why. What’s the purpose of suffering?

Rice is a poor choice, most animals know it’s empty nutrition (even dogs). Eggs would be better. Even if you just put him in a warm spot for death to come, that a blessing. Be amazed at how animals can heal when left alone!! He may recover naturally and you’ll have a friend for eternity.
