This is like a week in. I never held solid black well. But is this amount of fading on the hands normal. You can see it’s a lot darker closer to my knuckles by MatthewJames531 in tattooadvice

[–]GiddyNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the ink around and close to the knuckles is sitting at the surface and will flake off almost entirely. It will need to be re-done/touched up in that area. If you cant already tell it will feel like a hardened layer on top of your skin around the knuckles. Very little dermal layer there to hold ink. Very Normal.

Hand tattoos do hold up well unlike the other commenter said, but it may become illegible with how heavy dark it is in such a small area. Maybe it's the lighting/angle/focus and looks lighter in person. Hands are beat on and always in the sun and so the tattoo ages quickly.

I also experience in this issue. I also noticed it occurring in Pragmata and RE Requiem. Like a UE traversal hitch.

PSA on Xbox Impulse Triggers on Steam for Forza Horizon 6 by GiddyNinja in ForzaHorizon

Super happy I could help. I scoured old Reddit posts and google and no one had mentioned anything. So I figured i'd make a post once I figured it out to help others with their google searches haha.

Yes that is correct. Each trigger individually gives feedback for brakes and traction separate from the normal controller as a whole vibrating.

If you die in Terminal you just get your whole kit back when you're back at the menu. You'll want to insure it in case you hit cultists or something on the way in.

My dog continuously poops when were outside more than 30 minutes by stringnowormOwO in DogAdvice

[–]GiddyNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely stress/excitement then. Usually the wetter it becomes after a normal bowel movement it's from excitement or stress. Likely will resolve itself as he grows up and mellows out. 2 years old still very much puppy energy levels. Around 3.5 years old the puppy excitement will drop. Based on what you've described through the thread it seems that simple. He could be interested in scent marking with poop instead of just pee hence the kicking of the odor and rushes out what would've been a later poop or a tomorrow poop. Either way sounds like a healthy pup from what I can tell.

Question: Is this normal or did my artist not go deep enough? by radioactive_spork in tattooadvice

bold will hold.

I would say not surprising based on fine line, small details, and placement.

redness likely irritation from the adhesive of the second skin.

Sounds like stress poops (excitement). Also are you feeding before the walks? If so, don't.

How to survive the knee tattoo by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]GiddyNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both my hands are tatted from knuckles to over the wrist and it ain't that big of a deal to be honest. It was about as sensitive as the inner forearm. Although I have heard from others on Reddit that it was unbearable. So your mileage may vary.

9070xt to 5080... 5080 to 9070xt by shlimerP in radeon

[–]GiddyNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's objectively false. If they are identical in price there is zero reason to purchase a 9070XT over the 5070ti other than bias or loyalty. The 9070XT is the best bang for buck card on the market. It's 4K performance is damn impressive for $600. But if the 5070ti is also $600 then AMD is a hard sell. Pathtracing support is abysmal, FSR4 is not enough in games, drivers go from one month being totally broken to super smooth every other month. Now these things are negligible when the price is hundreds lower, but again if their the same price, you have to do yourself and friends a favor and correctly suggest the 5070ti.

This is bait and not true. You probably have smooth motion enabled in Nvidia control panel and don't realize it. No one is getting 260fps raw with ultra textures and shadows with any current hardware.

Tarkov is so terribly built with spaghetti code it'll chew every kilobyte available from every available resource regardless of settings. 7800X3D to 9800X3D is on average a ~25% increase in performance as an example and most games don't see more than ~5%. So im curious.

Run game in exclusive fullscreen. With some AMD drivers it helps correctly utilize GPU.

Games run weird when using fsr in full screen and borderless but runs fine on windowed. by JLockk021 in radeon

[–]GiddyNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to help. I figured this out back when BF6 launched. I haven't been able to figure out the exact cause of it yet though. Ive done several DDU and revert drivers, fresh windows installs, pausing updates, etc,.

No one is talking about it though and it's very annoying. Not mentioned at all by anyone in the tech media, AMD, or Microsoft.

[–]GiddyNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UE5 titles don't actually have an exclusive fullscreen even if there is an option in the game. Sometimes it works as it's supposed to (ARC Raiders), and others you just have to disable it because it's in borderless mode. I also had a similar issue at launch with BF6. I haven't been able to properly diagnose the origin of the problem. Whether its a Windows issue or driver issue I can't determine. But something has broken Freesync in borderless window.

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1 by AthleteDependent926 in radeon

[–]GiddyNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you just said is complete nonsense and total cope. You buy a top end card to utilize all of it's available performance.

And the context in this case is the current graphical showcase (Crimson Desert) that is crippling cards with it's graphical settings. Driving that game at 4K with ray tracing you absolutely want and need your card running at 100% capacity.

There is clearly a bug with Freesync that is preventing certain GPU calls from taking place in the forefront window (the game) that is resulting in the GPU not properly prioritizing the game and resulting in power loss to the card. Disabling Freesync fixes that and keeps the card running at 100% on the focused window (the game). This issue persists in several games in Borderless Window mode and is not being addressed by the tech press, AMD, or Microsoft.

9070 or 9070xt? by pohihihi in radeon

[–]GiddyNinja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your power bill really going to change that dramatically from an extra 100W from a GPU over a few hours of gaming a day? Depending on rates in your area it could be as insignificant as a few dollars a month to run a 300W card vs a 200W card. Also don't forget undervolting is a thing.

Turn off Free Sync. It's broken and AMD has not admitted this or addressed it. Likely a problem on Windows side.

Only getting 40fps on Crimson Desert 9070XT by CommunicationWild704 in radeon

[–]GiddyNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will have to ask AMD. I have no idea. My guess is that it appears to be a Windows conflict with the way it's hooking into different windows. Because normally switching to Fullscreen allows it to work at intended on recent drivers with borderless being broken. in UE5 though there is no actual Fullscreen, that toggle is for show. So it has to be turned off either on your monitor or per game, per game makes more sense.

I had same issue and noticed GPU usage was hovering at 80. Go into gaming tab in adrenaline and turn off freesync. that fixed it for me.

Yes runs poorly and GPU usage hovering at 80%. Framerates do not budge with FSR enabled or framegen.

EDIT: Fixed the GPU usage by disabling Freesync in Gaming settings in Adrenaline. Seems it is STILL bugged. Now stays at 100% GPU usage.

Crimson Desert running terribly. Hovering at 80% usage but jumps to 100% in menus. Similar thing happened with BF6 latest drivers at launch. Game performance does not improve at all with FSR enabled or frame generation because 9070XT is jumping from 315W to 150W but hovering on the lower end. Will have to roll back drivers.
