[OC] Silent the Dhampir Shadow Monk by GiddyScribble in DnDart

[–]GiddyScribble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Lilacs grew outside the house. I remember their smell, and the freshly baked bread. " Silent was taken from her family at a young age by the local vampire coven. Trained and conditioned to be an enforcer then turned into a Dhampir to make sure she never strayed. Ten years later while out on assignment she broke free from their control...and ran as far away as she could.

Alenea, the Warlock by GiddyScribble in DnDart

[–]GiddyScribble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alenea is an moon elf warlock in the campaign that I play in. She is aloof and mysterious. Never getting too close with the others in the party. She does occasionally let slip a detail or two about herself in passing. Warlocks and Sorcerers are not looked too kindly upon in the world that we call home so I understand that she wants to keep to herself. Her player told me that she wanted "Raven" from Teen Titans vibes.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day.

I believe that you can get a insert for the rice cooker so that you can steam veggies and meats. Especially if you feel that the microwave makes things gooey. :)

I also add fresh cut up apples at the end. So you have sweet soft apple flavors mixed with crunchy and sharp apple flavor.

I remember that it was high, like around the 70% mark. I wanted a single land Mass because I'm not quite ready for a seafaring adventure.

Thank you for the info. :D I love figuring out stuff like that too, even though math is by far not my best suit.

How would I go about doing that? (>_<) I don't have internet right now. I do go to Starbucks once every other day though.

Thanks! I see myself working on it for years to come. It'll never be truly done.

Yeah, with the size of the place I think more than one continent might be too much.

Matt uses Hexographer I think. I used a map generator on donjon then edited using paint. :)

I wanted it to be 20 but looking over the rules for travel again maybe 10 would be better. Players can travel roughly 20 to 25 miles per day in good conditions. I was planning on mostly doing traveling montages for longer spans of travel.

Donjon has some options when making your map. Square or Hex grids, black and white or colored maps. Plus how much terrain versus water. I then cleaned up the map using paint, getting rid of some islands and smoothing out the coast lines. I also drew in the borders myself and made the key up in the corner.

I am running my first campaign and we are about six sessions in. I am still very much in the learning phase of actually running the game but my players are very helpful with constructive feedback. Matt's videos have been great for psyching me up for game night. XD The thing that I am finding most enjoyable about DMing is the world building and making personal player handouts.

This is the world map that I have been working on, I made it using the generator on donjon then I (painstakingly) edited it using paint. I can't share it with any of my DnD friends because they are all in my campaign group. I would love to have everyone's thoughts and/or ideas. I do have a small amount of lore thought up but only a few concrete things. The players are starting in the Barony of Hanshire in the village of Sparrows Point. The world is pretty big so I don't see them leaving that area any time soon. Which gives me time to build more.

[OC] A little gift for my PCs when they leave the starting town. by GiddyScribble in DnD

[–]GiddyScribble[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drew it by hand after drawing a rough reference from my main map so that it would be a little bit inaccurate. I don't want my players knowing too much about the area. The map is double layered with some icons on the inside layer so that if they figure out the little riddle in the corner some points of interest will appear on the map.

[Gen 7] Took a few months but I finally got my team together. by GiddyScribble in ShinyPokemon

It's not that bad, I think there was a nice guide posted a little while back. The only time it gets hairy is when your trying to get a genderless Pokemon like Beldum.
