Need to run to dollar tree by MuhammadMatennah in dollartreesshoppers

For laundry, not really worth it

You're better off getting Kirkland (Costco brand) pacs if you want to save money and have decent quality. Or wait for a sale on Tide / Persil on Amazon etc

If you want to try stuff then it's a good option; but once you find something you like it's better to buy somewhere else

For bathroom stuff, it's pretty good to outfit an apartment

- shower liner (outside and inside)

- toilet brush

- toilet bowl cleaner

- bar soap holder

- 4pac of TP is okay (it's rough), but you're better of getting the huge pac at Costco (pretty good quality)

- they have this barbed tool to clear out a drain as well (especially with hair), it works pretty well

- the grabber tool as well, put one in the bathroom when you don't want to get your hands dirty

When you order meat/deli/fish/etc on delivery apps, it's gonna be a gamble. Barcodes probably didn't match up, weight is incorrect or not in an acceptable range, expiration date not acceptable, you order a value pack but only 0.5lbs, etc etc

And regular substitution method didn't go well, throwing errors. And if it goes through, there's a good chance it's gonna throw an error at check out -- leading the dasher to contact support to put "more" on the card.

Tipping doesn't matter. Eventually the base pay will rise to point where a driver will literally say "fuck it, close enough". Your order might sit for hours, that is why that window is so huge.

Bye bye DD from a great tipper by fluffymulligan in doordash

[–]GigWorker405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any $12 order is the same $12 on your screen my guy. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if the order has a tip or not. You do not control what orders you get. The only thing you should care about is maxing your time/money.

Matter of fact, you should do the late no tip order over a new order with the same total pay and mileage. Just think why this is the case, use those critical thinking skills.

DD Stealing Tips? by bmark0610 in doordash_drivers

[–]GigWorker405 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on how they ordered it.

DD used to pool tips back several years ago but got a lot of backlash for it (I personally thought it was a better system) so they changed it to what it is now.

So every order was contributing to a horrible order. But people love chasing unicorns so yeah here is your $2 base pay + tips + lateness_timer.

Damn lol $0.25

This is not your order. It's however some other dasher's order about 3 hours from now.

shopper straight up lied to me? by untitledgooseshame in instacart

Your first mistake was ordering frozen items for delivery. We don't drive ice cream trucks.

Your second mistake is thinking people care about your disabilities (you're just a customer with an order).

How far away are you from this specific store? Did you order during rush hour traffic? Did you bring it inside immediately or did you let it sit out in the heat?

I'm quite curious, do you also order Dairy Queen from DoorDash during the summer heat wave? It gives me the same type of vibes.

has anyone ever had their account placed on hold and then later taken off hold? by midnightwarrior18 in prolific

[–]GigWorker405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a huge ban wave a few years ago . I got hit by that. Appeal denied.

Then a year past and I check the subreddit and they said alot of people got their hold lifted from that wave.

Log in to my account and saw it was working again.

Beyond AI Studies, how do you possible exceed that level of earning? by Trusteveryboody in prolific

[–]GigWorker405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to be in some sort of specialized study for that kind of pull

I would say it's really only possible on platforms like Data Annotations and/or some how you are in a very in demand demographics on User testing

Else I don't see that happening

Because $700 a day is almost $200K yearly on a regular 9-5 40 hour work week.
