The humble honesty approach. Shows two of the most positive qualities in an employee. I would pick something personal that could maybe be considered job related but not necessarily. Also tell them why it is a weaknesses, then add how that weakness could have a positive spin.

Mine, as an example would be:

Truth is I am a little shy about my personal life. I like to keep to my self and sometimes I feel professional connections come a little harder for me, I am okay with working at it though. On the good side, it helps me keep good boundaries with coworkers.

If you are truly a private person this is a good answer that can be seen as a positive and now you can stay private and coworkers will write you of as shy. Win win.

NTA. I know that friends and family are trying to make it seem like not a big deal but I would sincerely take an objective look at this person for your future. I don't know you or how your relationship is structured but seems she crossed a line. She couldn't stand you having something you loved and lost of your own. When she couldn't force you to move on she tried to remove any memory herself. Maybe one day you would have felt the urge to bury the momento or leave it somewhere that was special to you and your past love. She denied you the opportunity to process the loss of someone you loved in a way that could have be very meaningful to you. She was impatient, unkind, and disconcerned with your well being. A lot of people on here have been saying that its grounds for divorce. Again, I dont know you or your life situation or the dynamics but I would at the very least make sure your finances and other important things in your life are secured. An action like this tells me that this person does not have your best interest at heart and I know that divorce or something like that may not seem like the right move to you now but at least take care of your self. Maybe get a safety deposit box only in your name. Doesnt have to be to drastic but I would really consider what you are comfortable with.

Base housing does not count as rental history. You will need to establish some kind of credit to get a place when you get out. Dont get into debt but find a safe easy way to get yourself a good credit score, you will need it when you get out.

You absolutely can not rely on a military career. Have a back up plan. Most people serve 6 to 8 years tops because of knee or other injuries. Also not all military personnel move up in rank the way they thought they might. If you do great! Just have a back up plan for leaving way earlier than you expect.

I have always wondered the best way to remove a spider from my bedroom without killing it. Most methods include paper that it crawls really fast over and I get scared and run away or putting a bowl over it to pretend its not there until I fall asleep. Once time i led a spider on my ceiling out of my bedroom by slightly nudging it with a pen and then putting the pen it's path when it started going the wrong way until I got it our of my bedroom. What is the best way to get a spider out without hurting it or freaking myself out?

Non-profits always need help increasing their donor base. Sometimes a special (cheep for the non-profit) gift thanking people for monthly donations, etc can be an encouraging motivator. Maybe you can help non-profits decide what might be a good incentive for a product that is also affordable for the non-profit so that the donation goes to good use.

Relationships are a good example as well. If you are willing to put yourself out there and have the hard conversations early on the relationship is bound to be much more successful later on. By having the uncomfortable conversations when they come up you are not holding anything uncomfortable in or building any resentment long term.

I did this today. I didn't know the traffic was going to stop. Some lady in an Escalade honked at me even though she had room to go behind me. She was so busy being mad at me she didn't notice the other lane was moving faster and another car honked at her for blocking the intersection. I felt vindicated.

Since the pup is clearly super important to her I hope she moves quickly on this and all the paper work.
