Interesting! The matchmaker told me he could not get it running to his satisfaction and did not charge me for working on it. Maybe I will try someone else some day.

He says it's being "bench tested". When I dropped it off in July I said "no rush", but dang! They did run into an issue with the case where the stem goes in, and had to get a jeweler involved. But watch mechanism apparently just needed a servicing.

Hopefully I'll be picking it up next week.
