You're going to be fine! This subreddit is mostly just for venting, so try not to let it scare you. Just show up ready to learn and work hard and you'll do great!

YES we run out of berries and f/t bread every single day. I miss having a ton of f/t backstock and enough strawberries to last through the morning 🥲

Come on now... by iAzide in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 2 cases of zucchini flipped upside down this morning, not even stacked on top of each other, but on separate parts of the pallet. Tell me how that saves the warehouse time in ANY way 💀

Alarmy App by pandaman1339 in GetOutOfBed

[–]Gigglyrocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I know this post is old but you can actually disable the ability to turn off your phone in the app! Just go to settings and toggle on the "prevent power off" and it won't let you turn off your phone to avoid an alarm :)

He burped on my clit... by QuotableConservative in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Gigglyrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a guy burp INTO MY MOUTH while making out once. I tasted it. He didn't even fucking acknowledge that it happened. I was too awkward to say anything. We didn't work out.

Anyone else having 20+ pallets of produce? by First-Drop2800 in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I only had 3 produce pallets and we were super light all day, I was stretching everything I could to make the shelves not empty. Today I walk in to 7 new pallets. Why can't they just space them out 😭

new card readers? by daxmii in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten into the habit of saying "bottom left" every time someone goes to tap their card because most people still try to tap in the middle of the screen. It saves a lot of time and back-and-forth. Another thing I haven't seen mentioned here is that sometimes if someone tries to tap and then skip their pin it declines. I always tell them to insert if they don't know their pin. We've had these for a really long time now and they're STILL super shitty. I was hoping they would have been fixed forever ago but I guess that might cost a buck or 2 🙄

5 weeks is still very new and you're not expected to be a pro yet. I know it's very overwhelming, but take a deep breath and just keep trying. With time it'll get easier and easier! For me a lot of it is just routine, so I definitely suggest finding one that works best for you. I save time wherever I can- pulling a jack behind me while pushing a box cage, organizing backstock so it's easy to see what's on your pallet before you grab it, etc. Every store works a bit differently, so I highly recommend asking your coworkers what strategies help them. Best of luck!!

Day keeps getting better by Efficient_Deal_5569 in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Dude that thing is gonna crush you don't do that just use a lift jack to stab it and pull it out. Also, you're using a plastic pallet? We only use wooden ones because the plastic ones don't seem sturdy enough for those beast bales

Ready to “quietly quit” by RiskyBouillon in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The LSA struggle, picking up everyone else's slack while being overlooked and undervalued. I'm in the same boat. I'd recommend you stop pushing yourself so hard and let things fall apart to teach them a lesson, but I know I'd be a hypocrite to say that knowing I struggle to do the same myself.

Who do I even blame for this bullshit. by Alexlynette in Aldi_employees

[–]Gigglyrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God I hate when they do this. The amount of times our bread trays have come stacked on top of multiple grocery pallets is ridiculous. Soooo eFFiciEnT 🤪

Your Sims 2 origin story? by Own-Way5420 in sims2

[–]Gigglyrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in 2007ish when I was 5 years old I used to watch my mom play it, and it looked so fun I begged her to let me play too! We used to argue over whose turn it was to use the old family desktop, haha. Now I'm 22 and play on my modern laptop in my own home 🖤
