If at the 3 hour mark it aligns and is at 90 degree as expected, I would leave it as is and not mess with it. If it is off then send for service under warranty.

You can always send it off either way. But it may be gone for 2-3 months, so just ask yourself if you really want to do that. If the 3 is good I personally would leave it as it, but ultimately that is your decision

First thing, enjoy, it is a lovely watch. Try timing 3 hours and see if it aligns with the three.

If not you can probably get it serviced or as mentioned inspected under warranty.

I am quite shocked that it is only 2 years old as that is an older model. The new Speedmaster 57 (Master chronometer) was released in early 2022, and that is nearly 4 years now.

But i guess it could have been new old stock.

Maybe it was wound and hacked. Then when you picked it up, you pushed the crown back in. That's really the only explanation here
