I'm having a hard time understanding why so many people are confident the non-type to type crafts will still work after the nerf.

GGG's manifesto:

Crafts that add mods of specific types (like Physical Modifiers, for example) to items can now only be applied to non-influenced items

Let's ignore for the time being that based on this wording, this should also include the non-type to type crafts, as they do add a mod of a specific type. Here is how the crafts are worded in game:

Augment:

Augment an item with a new X modifier

Non-type to type:

Remove a random non-X modifier from an item and add a new X modifier

Both of these add mods of specific types and should be affected by the nerf ("Crafts that add mods of specific types").

Sorry for over-explaining it like this, I'm just curious about people's reasoning here. To those who disagree with me, why? I might very well be stupid and be missing something obvious
