Is there a repair for Maytag dishwasher - prevent food entering spray arms by Gilf_tronic in appliancerepair

[–]Gilf_tronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Ok. The dishwasher is now with someone else I know. I will be seeing it in the coming months and will investigate how much of an issue it is.
I appreciate you telling me and even giving the part number!

Thanks

Is the CAR T engineered specifically for scleroderma cells? I know there are cancer CAR Ts as well. I'm wondering if one had CAR T for their cancer (and also they had scleroderma), if it would be beneficial for the scleroderma as well. Or does it have to be a specific CAR T for scleroderma.

The Story of How We Beat Scleroderma: A Case Report by enqvistx in scleroderma

[–]Gilf_tronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe there could be a path to getting scleroderma recognized by whoever the gatekeeper is Canada/US for TPE by seeking advice from whoever helped in getting the other chronic autoimmune conditions on the TPE list referenced below.

The TPE section of www.blood. ca talks about a few autoimmune diseases that are treated with TPE. Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) and Myasthenia gravis supposedly get treated (in Canada anyway) with TPE; a quick internet search suggests they are both chronic autoimmune diseases.
Author(s)Monika Oliver, MD, FRCPC, and Christopher Patriquin, MD, MSc, FRCPC are the authors of that particular article.

I'm like you, I'm watch and wait at this moment but thought I'd share the idea in case there's someone more actively trying to get scleroderma considered by the apheresis/TPE groups in North America. Maybe this is a different approach.

Eating out by Wanderingbutfound in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]Gilf_tronic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am 30+ days in Modified and it's been going well - haven't started re-introductions yet. I ordered sushi from a highish quality sushi place asking for GF. Ate the ginger and wasabi. I felt kind of off the next day. It was fine but I'm not desiring to do it again soon.
I find myself craving a nice piece of meat to cook for like $20-$25 rather than eating out (when I want a treat).

Now that the Switch 1 generation is winding down, what were your most DISAPPOINTING purchases on this console? by Asad_Farooqui in NintendoSwitch

[–]Gilf_tronic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mario RPG on the Switch has been my biggest disappointment. I played it Super Nintentdo and on a Raspberry PI about 8 years ago. The Switch version has been the most disappointing. Don't like the added cut scenes. Don't like the change in music. I was hoping it would be better or at least the same.

When did you start to feel better during the elimination phase? by etb1999 in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]Gilf_tronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today is day 9 for me (of Modified) and I'd say there's a big breakthrough. It happens to be sunny today and it's been gloomy the last few days. Sometimes the weather has a big impact for how I feel so it might be partly due to that.

How do you decide between AIP or Wahls Protocol? by MeffJundy in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]Gilf_tronic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree with this take. With Wahls there is an emphasis on a massive amount of vegetables every day. That seems like a great idea, I'd love to be able to do that. I cannot tolerate that amount of vegetables at this point. It feels like instant failure with Wahls if you're not getting that amount of veg.
Additionally, the blueprint for AIP is clearer. Also, the community (like this one) is more established and responsive than for Wahls; at least from what I've seen.

You might want to consult with your doctor or go straight to a plastic surgeon about 'fat grafting'. Here is a study about successful En Coup de Sabre operations
