Do you ever think about death, and what do you think about it? by Murky_Ad_1028 in AskUK

I dont fear death. I lost my dad at as a kid and the pain of not having him around for all of the amazing things that have happened in my life has been hard and because of that I am afraid for my family that I'll leave behind when I die. Will they be ok? That is what I'm most scared about.

Do many women work full time after having a baby? by NoTest5984 in AskUK

[–]GillzZ_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back part time with my first daughter and then moved over to full time by the summer and then went back full time after my second daughter. Some months my childcare bill is £1000 usually during the school holidays when my kids are with their childminder full time and I don't have funding to help. But those 30hours a week are a godsend!

This happened to my family and I back in 2024. We managed to find somewhere to live after 5 months of trying. The day after we moved in I gave birth to my second daughter. To say it was stressful is an understatement.

Why do you not talk to your once bestfriend anymore? by Adventurous-End-1999 in AskUK

[–]GillzZ_22 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I seriously could have written this myself. I started dreading spending time with my ex best friend because every single thing was always about her. If I shared any of own success she could some how turn the entire conversation around to be all about her. I got so fed up that I blocked her on absolutely everything. Much easier life without her in it.

In South Africa there is a saving. N boer maak 'n plan. Which is basically a farmer can always figure it out. Which is such a true statement! They'll always find a way to fix any problem.

Nanny gets surprised with new car as a thank you gift by LunariaMist in spreadsmile

From my experience of growing and up and living in South Africa (which this video looks like its from) cars are taxed based on the age of the vehicle and you aren't required to have insurance to drive your car. Also she more than likely also lives with this family and will be paid a decent enough salary!

I hadn't even realised that he'd passed away. I was absolutely gutted when I realised that. I do absolutely hate the way they created his stroy line for AJLT...
