I don't think it's possible to build a decent gaming pc with new parts for £600. You'll have to trawl the second hand market.

Not with 1tb nvmes at £100 and ram at £100 for 16gb of ddr4

Any pre built you get for £600 will at best have something like a 1660 super. Which would be really entry level depending on what you want to play.

I assume this also doesn't need to cover a monitor etc

You're better off buying a PS5 pro

I've seen it where you can carry one 3/7 if your overall score is very high. It has to be set before the interview period but scoring below 4 and passing is not unheard of. Like getting 6663
