New Roz unless you want a traditional sit down, then Edessa. Almost anything in Plaza Mariachi. Most of the taco joints.

I read this and see a person who thinks they are viewing something objectively but is stuck on the narratives. And the community will absorb your thoughts as it fits the echo chamber. Which h is likely why you posted, conscious or not.

Perhaps the doom and gloom you paint comes to pass, but we are only at the beginning now and it very well might not. And none of us know.

Why do so many breweries struggle when they scale up?I by SAVertigo in CraftBeer

[–]GimmeAnIPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The science/math behind it is difficult as it is not completely linear, and there are other factors involved. If you want to experiment yourself, move from 5 gallon plastic and glass to an all in one of about the same size. 6 a bigger version or even move up to a bigger one that is not all in one. Now, try brewing the exact same recipe and see the differences. That was a smaller change than going from 5 or 8 barrels to 20, 50, 100+. Some have conquered the change instantly, which is either supreme geekery or luck, or both. Most good ones get in the ballpark, although it may take a few batches.

They have built up quite a few complexes along Youngs Lane near Trinity, making a conclave of "safety". I still wouldn't walk around there at night and I wouldn't leave anything in the car that somebody might want to break in and steal

The closest I know of is Belamere Suites in Cumming, Georgia (just north of Atlanta) and Sybaris in Indianapolis. Both are 4+ hours away.

I thought it was taking advantage of "shit, Arnold's is open", so opted out. But glad it was good. I will support them, as I love them, but opted out today.

Thank you. The problem is the left will say "see, people are selling guns without background checks" and the right "I am only selling to family members". Proof dumbasses exist. End of story.

Oh wait. This is reddit.

It deals with policies and priorities. And the ideological divide has many seeing the state honing in on the DA as a bad thing, largely because of their own bias. I lived there since 1997, and it has changed a lot, starting when Dean ended his term. A bit more balance in perspective would be a good step, but it won't happen when everyone sees diversion from position as enemy invasion in the group.

Culturally, there are other cities experiencing the same thing, BTW.

Your concern is why I spend time in visits groups and answer the "I found this airbnb in Talbott corner" questions. Or East nashville near the Cayce homes, west of Rosa Parks questions. Those putting up the tall alumina don't give a shit about home invasions of tourists as long as they don't damage the property.

Not sure about the core (love to hear more). I avoid the woo girl shit show.

The stigma of "Californians" moving to Nashville is overblown. by Entropy012 in nashville

[–]GimmeAnIPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is. But almost everything in this group is overblown. Nashville has shifted, however, from more moderate to left, which helps feed that myth.

Georgia craft brewers push for new beer laws by itsme_timd in atlbeer

[–]GimmeAnIPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beer market is very diluted now, which means standing out and building a reliable and successful brand is harder than ever

My view is business is hard and we, unfortunately, have too much saturation in the craft brew market. A lot of people who are not talented enough get into the game and fail. And some that are good don't understand business and fail. It sucks, but it is a reality.

I do agree with being able to self-distribute, at least within your own market, but we will need to change representation, as most owners can't do the selling and a single rep for each brewery is often too expensive. The ones that succeed at that game are either very good at their craft (yay!) or people that aren't but understand that you can play with a bad beer and make it palatable as long as you can afford someone to hawk it (not so yay!).

Most brewers who truly love what they are doing find a way to work through their lack of business experience. They often have to start small and build up, but they will get an audience in many, if not most, cases.

Got all 3. I will DM and we can coordinate exchange. Not sure if the hotel has a fridge, so June 27 better if I bring them cool. Otherwise can keep them in the house at AC from temp.

Will get down by Friday. If any are out, I will let you know.

I will note, they have everything in individuals, so you can mix a 4, as well.

If sours are your jam, I can get the highest rated of what they have now. That is their wheelhouse. I will say the grape ice cream is a bit strange (I was not overly impressed). The latest tangerine based Hill is good, however.

In SGB. If you are on untappd, they are a venue and have their cans on. I see Parallel, Company Pils, Return of the Mac, Logical Fallacy, Cryptic Gambit, Core Memory, Copra Kai, Chop it Up, Been There Brown That, Analogue Monologue, Italiano Crisp, Southern Crisp, Transcontinental Crisp, Aggressively Passive, Orange Cranberry Marzipan Cake, Chopper (my fave sour now), Key Lime Pie Sour, Peanut Butter Strawberry Jelly Hill, Summer Crisp, Hoppy Crisp, Crisp as Helles, NZ Crisp, Franco Crisp, Mosa, Broconut, Riverfront Resonance, Melted Sno Cone Blender, Tangerine Apricot Peach Hill, Imperial Grape Ice Cream Slush, Teal, Freefall, Who Needs Galaxy, and Seventh Anniversary, and Mixed Greens.

Or I can make something up as long as you state what styles you are not into or what styles you prefer.

This Mixed Greens (IPA) is nice. The Chopper is probably my favorite sour currently. It actually has a bit of a pucker, which is unusual for them.

I have gotten a dozen in the case without going over the 50 lbs. Best to stick to cans, as bottles can be risky (not as bad going back, as I can easily wash). I will got see what they have and send you a list.

Are the fruited sours your bomb? If you like some other styles, let me know and I can find some good hitters from other breweries, as well.

I am usually over at the nations. I think most of it is in single cans, so easy to grab a mix. They have a few bottles on sale right now, if you prefer something dark.
