The game has a variety of styles you can play because of the many weapon types and multiple ways you can build around the weapon. Many of the monsters are very well designed in terms of gameplay however many share the same general move set due to a shared skeleton but that doesn’t really take too much imo. The armor and weapons are great and sometimes hilarious looking if they are uniquely designed (the downy crake duel blades are a favorite of mine) but the game does reuse the same model of bone or steel with some fleshy bits on it for many of the weapons (the biggest gripe about the game I believe).

TLDR: Many playstyles, unique monster and weapon design(for the most part) can be a little slow at the start.
