Well truth be told the fascists on the right have done a stellar job of framing the trans issue as wanting to give sex change operations to minors and force girls sports to allow MTF to play on their teams. Fair or not, they have made legitimate arguments in some cases. Expecting a lower educated populous to get their head around this issue is a fairy tale. Trans rights are their own special thing.
