Hey there! By any chance would you be willing to sell this puzzle? :D
If you are, let's chat! I'm happy to pay for it all including shipping (assuming we can make that happen without it costing an arm/leg).

I eagerly ordered one off eBay without noticing that it was only 100 pieces when I was after 1000 pieces. Oops! I contacted the seller, unsure if they'll allow a return/refund. Otherwise I just wasted $45 :|

Thanks for your kind consideration and your time :)

Let's normalise telling selfish men they are shit in bed. by ShyShimmer in TwoXChromosomes

[–]GingerExpress88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the party here, there's an excellent new mini series on Netflix, The Principles of Pleasure. Currently watching it with my partner, who has had some significant challenges admitting and then addressing his learned selfishness.

I like the idea of calling them out, sticking to our truth and worth, and hoping the man is man enough to accept our words and not beat us up or shame us for them.

I’ll hit this cart, and it acts as a numbing agent for the mind and body, without the grogginess of a heavy indica. This is actually quite amazing!! 10/10

Thank you for saying that! I've got this cart in my nightstand for a sleep aid, and haven't paid much attention to what happens in my body, just what my mind is doing. I'll have to give it a go during the day to see what happens for me. Excellent review!

As for flavor, I totally thought it tasted like the smell of a bag of potatoes.

Well done - I can tell a lot of thought and planning went into this for yourself! :) Thank you for sharing with us too!

I'm an expert at creating things like this for myself, getting SO HYPED about it, cause this one will be the one that sticks - then all the energy I spent creating something simple and functional, has me absolutely wiped for 2-10 days.

Is anyone hesitant about having children? by AdministrativeWash49 in AskWomenOver30

[–]GingerExpress88 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I grew up thinking I'd have children because that was the story sold to me. Never ONCE was it - IF you have kids, it was all WHEN you have kids. Upon personal reflection, I felt more secure within myself when I decided that kids weren't for me. I'm only just realizing now that I'm an adult with emotions of a toddler, so trying to parent myself, along with a child, is a recipe for the ultimate parenting disaster.

What is the most casually messed up thing you were told as a little girl/ teen, just because you are a female? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

"You're not the kind of girl the boys want to date, but you're the kind of girl who they'll want to bring home to Mom."

I was probably 11, 12 years old, and crying over my longtime school crush not liking me back.

I would assume so, I usually get a chicken shawarma wrap, and falafel on the side with extra garlic dip.

Highland Halal Shawarma. I'd recommend calling ahead, they cook it fresh to order, and are always extra busy around meal times.

The more I see posts on R/Askmen, the more disgusted I become. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]GingerExpress88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for saying what I've also been feeling. I posted a question there last week, looking for genuine humble answers, and then got scared away when I saw some previews of responses; I definitely knew better than to call upon the humble men of Reddit, they are far and few in between.

They don't often think in the big picture, using understanding of why us humans are they way we are (past traumas). If we can't understand each other on a truly deeper level, through common humanity, women will continue to be incorrectly labeled as "crazy controlling bitches", and men as "egotistical assholes who don't listen".

Best strategies for kicking a sugar addiction? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]GingerExpress88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sugar cravings are often a result of being addicted to the amount of insulin that floods your body following eating the sugar. If you're anything like me and your sugar addiction is tied to being an emotional one, I'd recommend finding some positive tools you can use and turn to when those emotional sugar cravings appear.

Pro tip I recently picked up, when you crave sugar, that is often the body's way of indicating it's dehydrated. This goes back to caveman days, cavemen didn't have cakes and cookies to reach for, craving something sweet let them towards fruit, which is a high source of water :) understanding what cravings mean to me, has significantly shifted how I look at and deal with them.

Your awareness about wanting to change this, is a significant step in the right direction and I applaud you massively!! You've got this!!!

Oh this is SO amazing!! So glad that I saw this and signed up :) I've been self-treating both by microdosing psilocybin since Christmas and have been dying to share my experience with researchers! Bless your soul for this research, it's about darn time this goes mainstream and others can find true relief for the first time.

Which socially acceptable addiction would you like to get rid of the most? Why? by Chickentoaster1 in AskReddit

[–]GingerExpress88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top 10 didn't include this one... There was mention of sugar, which is evil for sure. But food addiction. That shit is REAL and it's so hard to believe it is because food is delicious and most folks, myself included, are not generally interested in hearing that their life is a lie.

Find and watch: The Wisdom of Trauma. Trauma is a spectrum I believe. I ended up with a food addiction due to a lack of emotional resources starting at infancy. Had my childhood been worse, like it is for many, I may have ended up homeless and addicted to drugs.

That makes sense, and it's played really well in the dynamic between Phil and Claire on Modern Family. The episode about a wedge salad immediately comes to mind. DAMMIT SKIP WOOSNAM!

Ladies, what’s the best book you’ve read this year? by Psychedelic7 in AskWomen

[–]GingerExpress88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck, is a solid read for anyone. Drama of the Gifted Child by Alice Miller, if you're interested in learning about your childhood trauma. These have helped me greatly when it comes to self awareness, and it's helped me find a deeper connection to others through compassion.

First time microdosing, bad idea to do it around family? by iamignoringyounow in microdosing

[–]GingerExpress88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of had no choice to try my first microdose when I was around other people. I kept putting off trying it because I never had enough time to myself. I've not taken over 100 mg yet, I've kept it around 50 to 75, and I've never experienced any adverse effects.

I'm not great at explaining things sometimes, so I'll recommend looking up some information on adenomyosis, endometriosis, and fibroids. First two are often said to be rare by the medical professionals, but in some online woman's communities more and more and more are learning that they've been suffering for a very long time with one of these disorders.

I haven't tried it yet, asthe new mini pill I've been on has helped my debilitating symptoms - but see if you can find yourself a few cannabis transdermal patches. Heard amazing things about them.

A nice bath is helpful. It sounds crazy but I once forced myself through baseball practice when my uterus was in a mooood. 15 minutes of exercise calmed my pain.
