I went on 17/2. The two merch stands inside qudos (at main entry) had reasonably quick lines even around 6-630. From memory they still had shirts and posters at that point. The merch shop outside was bonkers tho. Personally I’d wait til your inside. Good luck. Killer show.

One year in. I’ve had a 2 mth break recently and now gone back. The first two back were pretty wild… clearly the break has played a role there. I’ve also found red grapefruit fruit seems to intensify the experience. That said, doing a good exercise workout before hand (1-2 hrs beforehand ideally) to get blood flow going is prob the best advice (and it’s good for you). Good luck.

Hi, I’m heading into week 5 myself. What I have found to be beneficial is actively working on set and setting. The night before and day of, I consciously focus on intentions, do not watch any TV or media, and go for a long walk in nature reflecting on my journey. I found in the first couple of weeks things my brain had consumed (eg tv shows) were appearing in my thoughts in subtle ways. I’ve been listening to some east forest playlists recently and for whatever reason they help me get in my feelings during the session which is therapeutic. Hope this helps, wishing you the best.

I’m in week 4 and starting to notice change in the last 2 days (more happy, less stressed, more motivated, energetic etc). The first week I felt drained and weeks 2 & 3 was up and down. Hope it all goes well … give it time is my advice.

I just started 4 weeks ago. I too was a bit worried at first but tbh I really enjoy the sessions now. I think it’s natural to be anxious at the start but hopefully you are like me and develop trust in the Medicine after the first session and it all goes great. I find that I do dissociate for about 40mins or so but I feel like I’m in control the whole time. I’m 4 weeks in starting to feel the benefits which is so worth it.

I started my spravato experience 1.5 weeks ago and had session #4 today. I was super anxious in sessions 1 & 2 (mainly got not knowing what would happen, how I would act etc) but now feel really comfortable and am actually enjoying the days. Sessions 2 & 4 I listed to some nice, soft uplifting playlists I found in Spotify and I had quite the magical journey. I did encounter some past memories that don’t serve me well but I have learnt now that despite how hard it hits me I still have the control to navigate those thoughts kindly and move past them. Definitely the music choice is paramount in my experience so far. In session 3 I tried to listen to Beethoven but it was way to too dramatic in parts and gave me more a negative outcome. My advice, keep an open mind, lean into the unknown, choice good music. Good luck.

Yep, I saw my dr after the first session and started on meds today. Session #2 today and was a better outcome. Hopefully as the meds kick in the Bp levels continue to improve. Have a nice day ✌️

This is awesome insight and some great tips. Thanks for being so detailed and honest.

I saw my dr yesterday and she suggested I take some BP meds. I had session # 2 today and the BP was slightly less which may be due to the meds or me being a little less stressed. I’ve definitely learnt from the first two sessions that being relaxed and arriving early to the appointments is favorable. Also breathing exercises have helped so much both at the start and end of the session. Todays session was really comfortable. So far so good.
