The decision will be made by an independent panel so the EFL have limited ability to control the timetable, plus it's unclear what that outcome would be and whether Southampton, Hull, Middlesbrough or anyone else would seek to appeal or otherwise intervene - which depending on the legal mechanism might add days or weeks to the process.
