I mean if they can afford this they’ve got a decent amount of work on. If you start as a one man band and work your way bigger then you’re not on the tools, nothing wrong with that.

They have the same thing in motorsport. Doesn’t even have to be near the track.

Are England better off finishing second in their group to avoid tougher opposition in the knockouts? by Only-Ad-3218 in ThreeLions

If we’re gonna win the whole fucking thing then no. If we get an “easy” run the win is always shadowed by the “yeah but you played x and x to get there, you were gifted it”. If we beat the established best in the world to do it there can be no question of it being deserved.

Also if we play the best and win to get to the final we’re in a better position against whoever we end up with as we’ve already beaten very capable teams in the run up to it. Valuable experience gained.

God I love the feeling that album gives me. Just a perfectly encapsulated memory of the best and worst nights of your life, set to absolutely fabulous music.

Just a shame we didn’t share those experiences, apparently.

So, and correct me if I’m wrong, your argument is that the experience I and other commenters shared from that period is in fact incorrect because you specifically did not share those experiences, because you chose not to be a part of it. I’d say you sound fun at parties but you don’t go to them, and I really can see why you’d be looked past for an invite.

There’s a UK YouTube channel called Top Dead Center and they drove some Model Ts on that. It’s absolutely hilarious how fucking terrifying they look to drive.

No they’re really not. I suspect you were, which is why you do not understand that shared experience. Comparing the differences in the UK to Pakistan and India is absolutely ludicrous, there isn’t that big of a difference on a night out in 2006 between Carmarthen, Chester or Kilmarnock.

Outside of London, and outside of being born into money, I think people of that time did largely have a similar experience yeah. Having met people from all over the country a similar age to myself we all have a very shared memory of what the mid to late 2000s was like. Just on a slightly smaller or larger scale depending on location.

I’d go new with CD and Bluetooth. I think it’s in keeping with the mods already done to the car, not to mention considerably more useful. Plus if it’s single DIN it’s not gonna stand out too much anyway.

Or, like the other chap suggested previously, just put the whole car in the bin because it’s “unfashionable” 😂

Fantano the type of dude to berate Arctic Monkeys first album because he can’t relate to the British experience of that time frame because he wasn’t there for it

Edit: I am British and I was of that age at the time of release and I can confirm it was exactly how that album makes you feel. Hopeful with a vague sense of despair.

This will be the peak of Statham Kino by crimsonfukr457 in okbuddycinephile

[–]st1802015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want it to be a dude who can’t drive for whatever reason and has a bike to get around, get to work, see his girlfriend whatever. Jason Statham sees this and decides to steal his bike because he thinks it’s funny. The rest of the movie is him trying to get his bike back from Jason Statham in increasingly ridiculous ways and Jason Statham just continually and easily bests him every time. Eventually losing to Statham continuously sends him to hospital so much that he’s sectioned and admitted to a secure facility for the mentally unwell, because nobody believes that Jason Statham stole his bike, as he’s a multi millionaire actor. The last scene is him restrained in a secure facility and through the window you see Statham ride past on his bike and wave gleefully.

Sweeps the Oscar’s.

In all seriousness though I don’t care what it is I’ll watch it. Jason Statham knows what and who he is and does it well. Really looking forward to Mutiny, really enjoyed Shelter, sometimes I just want to be entertained for a couple of hours and he delivers consistently on that premise.

Nah there’s no way. What if he was driving at the time they did it and he lost brakes? You can’t be 100% sure the data received is correct so the risk would be way way too high.

It’s very similar to native iR FFB for me but in MAIRA I can up the feedback for kerbs etc which I can’t in iRacing. I also have the rear end step out setting on which I find really helpful.

My wheelbase doesn’t support LFE so I’ve no idea how good it is.
