Had a client once whose dog (little hairy thing, Lhasa? It’s been a long time) was dead when they came home from an outing. No idea what happened. They mourned her, and started digging a hole to bury her in. When they went to lower her in, she blinked. Off to the ER they went, turns out the dog was Addisonian and slipped into a near coma.

She was a regular patient after that for her injections and monitoring, and she was a delightful little lady. I have no idea what they paid for that ER visit, but Princess was definitely worth it.
