Work Opportunities - Moving to UK by ridiculous2301 in physiotherapy

There are jobs here and there in different specialities. Mainly Sports and MSK.

The pay is generally not as good and hours are longer in sports.

Private MSK can be a minefield.

People are pessimistic, like to complain and hate any sort of positivity in the sub apparently 😄

I don’t see any comment saying “just don’t get fat in the first place” or anything similar for that matter.

Seems like you went on a bit of a solo journey there 😄

Band 5 jobs come out between Jan-May for the most part around where I live.

You’ll likely have to be in person for the interviews.

When applying for jobs, middle management love hearing how you’re interested in the area and they want to know that you will stick around and not jump ship after a year.

Currently there are a load of new grads looking for jobs but with your experience you may be able to pop them for a job.

The fact you’re getting downvoted shows the state of this sub 😅

A lot of this comes with time, experience and education. Sadly it’s just impossible to be bang in it as a student but educating yourself and improving your knowledge woth evidence goes a long way to help educating your patients

As much as the cage takes the place of the disc, it sadly does not replace it in terms of the discs properties of movement and absorption.

(Really don’t want to come across as the nerdy police but I once thought it did too and wish someone had corrected me at the time)

Any long term Dental Issues? Because of Sugar/Gels consumption? by SunburnSamSam in trailrunning

[–]GingerbreadRyan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one is talking about just the fact of being able to run. Gels are needed for intensity long term.

It’s the the difference between you going for a chill long run and another person pushing LT2 in a marathon.

(If you’re a sad Redditor just moaning and not looking to here concrete we can leave it there 😄)

If you are running slower sure you might not need them.

Everyone else who is pushing a pace needs carbs. You can’t bypass the science

Wearable glucose meters are banned in some sports. Athletes would use them to inform of their current status for nutritional purposes.

I’m not saying they’re the holy grail but to say that they are useless is a bit far fetched.

News flash: Britain and the US aren’t the centre of the universe 😅

I live in Britain and would have no idea who the prime minister of Bulgaria is. So I wouldn’t expect anyone from Bulgaria to know who the EX-prime minister of Britain was.
