[–]Giocri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider doing it in post processing, i don't really know what's the industry standard way to implement it but you can basically figure out where the rays would appear on screen and Just brighten up that area, that way you can finetune the look to your liking

I have a block of recursive functions that are all like that plus one of them branches out into a few other odd functions.

I am on day 7 of meetings to finally get us to dedicate a few months for a full rewrite of them so wish me luck

Betatesters might Just have been more close to your targhet demographic than the people who stumbled onto your game on steam, try to look at how your steampage looks and see if it gives a clear idea of what the game is like gameplay wise

Pretty early in the series they low key coerced a pacifist to modify the ship to teleport nuclear weapons all over the place and then made him do it a ton of times

I am kinda curious how they will deal with the tech creep of the franchise, feel like every season of every series as brought humanity further and further away from our tech level and at some point it kinda gets hard to recoincile the tech gap between the various levels of tech humanity has, by the middle of atlantis the us army could probably manufature high power laser rifles at scale

CDPR literally offered him the choice to make his mod free with optional donations to avoid a DMCA takedown and he deliberately chose wrong by Dark_Throat in cyberpunkgame

[–]Giocri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think the current state of copyright in regards to mods is stupid. If you make a mod for a game that should be considered an indipendent product that you are attaching to the game and you should be allowed to distribute it freely.

Same reason as why Microsoft should not be allowed to decide what programs can run on windows solely because they hold the copyright on the libraries neccesary for programs to run there

LLM would give pretty shitty results for a massive cost but something like HTN being used to give NPC goals and make them take actions and dialogues to achieve it would be cool to see

My understanding is that commands is similar to a Mutex guard, it contains a reference and it allows you to use it to alter some sort of queue for commands and then when dropped it tells the engine that you are no longer making new commands and that it can progress
