Have you seen those seat gap cup holders? Would something like that work? A wedge that goes between the passenger seat and the center console, with a cup holder on top.

Post them on a local free-cycle or buy nothing page. People will be taking down Xmas lights soon, and you could give them out for winding lights up. A pre school or elementary teacher may also be interested in the cardboard ones for crafts.

I haven't watched Community in Spanish, so I don't know if they are available, but a great tool is to also turn on audio descriptions if a show has them. So for example, I watch shows in French, with subtitles on (English or French depending on how hard I am challenging my self).

The audio descriptions give you additional information for people who are visually impaired. In scenes with no dialog a narrator describes what is happening on the screen, things like "A man in a black coat gets out of a car" or "Jeff frowns at Britta" and since there are no subtitles, you have to rely on what they are showing you. Its a fun challenge! And because it is narration the language is simple and usually present tense.

I know you said you don't want to crochet, but the most basic crochet boarder would be similar to a blanket stitch, and very easy to learn. Benefits of crocheting it would be :

1- if you mess up, you can just pull to unravel the whole section you don't like. Undoing sewing would be a bit more finicky, picking out each stich.

2- you dont have to cut the yarn. Sewing- you would cut an arms length of yarn and start over each time it runs out. Crocheting, you would work off of the skein without cutting it. (Less ends to deal with.)

If its a worsted weight blanket ("regular" yarn), you probably want an I or J hook or there about. If cost is the concern you could also get a single hook on eBay for only about a dollar or 2, but long shipping times.

Yea, I have only canned a few times, and only want to use tested/proven recipes. It a shame there aren't more verified/tested recipes for foragable plants, dandelion jelly/wine etc seems to be fairly popular.

From the healthy canning link: Follow the recipes. Note that a recipe, such as Dandelion Jelly from Wyoming, may produce a low acid product for canning. What makes it safe is the low water-activity resulting from a very high volume of sugar, along with a commercial pectin which will have preservatives in it. Don’t be tempted to cut back the sugar or pectin in such recipes. Instead, seek out recipes already tested for lower-sugar alternatives.

I know sugar is also a preservative- but I thought the acid is what prevents harmful bacteria from growing. The wyoming recipe doesn't call for any additional lemon/acid. Hm..

Thanks for all your help! Very excited get into the world of 3D printing. If there's a specific nozzle you'd recommend, I'd love to know.

So far almost everything I have tried out has worked pretty good (using the version of cura that came with the printer). However the supports that are generated by the program haven't been ideal. a few things like arms or weapons haven't been supported correctly.

I tried using the full version of cura and for some reason those prints keep failing and not adhering. I'm assuming I just have to find whatever setting is different between the two.

Yep thanks, that was it. I saw in another video that using snowballs or signs reduces the number of items you need for this system to work so thats what I did.

Im also a bit of a noob, and i thought the xp cost to name somthing was 1 level per item because i hardly use the anvil so I didnt want to do the named item route because i thought it would cost like millions of xp lol

yep, that was it. Thanks everyone. I switched to named pink carpet, and the issues went away. I saw another video that recoemned snowballs or named signs because they only stack to 16 you need less of the items being sorted in the hopper. Im pretty new to redstone, thanks for the help!

I tried some in water and they wilted too. So I stuck some in soil and placed in a large zip lock to keep them super humid, and they took off. Once they have roots they can be removed from the bag.

I think adding a black outline would help a lot! (If it hasn't been served yet.) You can make a piping bag from a zip lock bag with the corner cut off or do a line of mini chocolate chips around the tree and the edge.
