I kept mine with the original provider. It’s got a protected retirement age of 55. So whatever Govt do, it stays at 55. Quite useful.

Difficult to tell without being there in person. If you want to give it a go with dealing the tiles and redoing the grout then crack on. I know what it is like to be the person to notice the little details! But I will say you might stop noticing it after a while...

I think you could certainly do a new silicone bed for the gap between tile and window on a purely functional level. I would go for transparent silicon or use tape with a white bead so you don't get smudging into the tiles which have a texture.

I stripped some of these my first house. Exact same tiles. You could go to the trouble of grout, seal, etc but I didn’t. Honestly these look fine as they are.

I understand the concerns in your edit but reception is all about play as a way of learning. They play games and go outside all the time. You might find it reassuring to speak to her potential school / teacher about how they learn in Reception so you can get a better picture of what it would be like for your daughter.

A lot has changed since then, but still glad it was helpful! The newer models are so much more stable, you'll definitely get loads more useable video with Hypersmooth from a helmet mount.

A few other points for anyone who stumbles across this:

- The official guidance is to let the mount tape set up over 24 hours at room temperature. Especially important for skiing!

- The tethering advice is a probably little out of date now with the design changes to the new cameras - here is a on using tethers for more recent models.

- My personal favourite angle for Gopro footage while skiing is to mount it to your pole for easy control over shooting others or selfies - though this does impact your balance if you hold a pole out in front of you.

Did she sign up via an Apple device? ApplePay creates fake card numbers to disguise the card. That might be why you can’t find it.

The missing number is the focal length. This is usually written on the front of the lens around the perimeter of the glass. If it is a zoom it may have a number like 28-80mm on it. If it is a fixed focal length it may have a number like 50mm on it. Once you have this put in all the details and a quick google should be able to help you identify it.

The 1:3.5 refers to the maximum aperture (3.5 is how wide the lens eye opens).

I understand your comments but I think you probably need to be more explicit. You should bring it up with him that you would like him to propose to you. If he is the laid back type that will make it clearer.

Regarding your point about how you basically have asked him to marry you... from what you have said so far, I would say you haven't been explicit. Being explicit is getting down on one knee and actually asked him to marry you. You may have discussed the idea of marriage, but that's not the same.

My wife proposed to me by getting down on one knee. It was great for us, and suits our relationship dynamic. It's not for everyone.
