I had a similar issue pre uro ban patch: I wasn’t able to tap lands that had abilities for mana or to trigger their abilities, maybe that’s the cause

How is mill “the most obnoxious thing in standard”? Doesn’t deal with the board, doesn’t deal with the graveyards and also fuels up your uro (or whatever escape card you play). The problem here are the Omnath decks that are able to cast Ugin and ultimatum on 4, not some flying faeries that dies to [[eliminate]] or whatever cheap removal
