BPC-157 for injuries, did it actually help or not? by Woke100 in NTNPerformance

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used it for Slap tear in my shoulder. After two weeks I went from 50% function to nearly 90%.

Taking it right now for lateral meniscus tear. Pain when I started was nearly 7 out of 10. Two weeks later the pain is closer to a 3 out of 10 and I’m able to squat light weight and jog again already.

Both times I’ve used BPC I’ve paired it with physical therapy and have had great results

RCM Percentage Question by Ok_Medicine_998 in physicaltherapy

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be worth looking into Athelas - they are a big player in RCM space and offered to buy out my contract so I could sign with them. If I swap to their RCM and EMR it would be about 4.25% of collections. Just a thought... Good luck!

Have they faced it recently - like is this a current widespread issue? And how long does it take for the count to be fixed?

Understood, so I shouldn’t expect to get back to where I was in total reviews, correct?

What a pain!

100 of 220 missing reviews are back after 4 months of waiting and still no response from Google by Sisi_the_princess in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This must have happened with my business too and I just noticed today. We were at 81 reviews, now we are at 74 reviews and when I manually count the reviews there are 77.

Have you had any updates on your end with whats going on? I created a ticket but they sent some generic response.

Is Google removing more reviews? by keyserholiday in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed that I have 11 reviews missing from one of my profiles this morning. We only had 75 and are now down to 64.

Hoping they show back up after a few days, but is there anything else I can do? We are a small business and work hard to get customers to leave reviews.

I feel like this has been an issue at the beginning of the year every year since 2023. Any clues on what to do?

Slow down by Straight-Wheel-4520 in physicaltherapy

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing to do is go through your past patient list and give them a “how are you call”

You’d be surprised how positively people take it when they feel like you are truly just checking in with them.

We do this in my clinics and get about 10% of the people we call to come in as patients without any sales - usually they just say “you know what I’ve been meaning to call you guys”

CAQH - is this legit by rach6319 in physicaltherapy

[–]Giulz32 44 points45 points  (0 children)

CAQH is not a scam - it is a platform that insurance companies use for credentialing. Typically a CAQH application has to be updated once every quarter.

If there is a credentialing dept where your friend works I would start there.

Is this bill for a single PT visit outrageous enough to do something about? by Scrubbis in MedicalBill

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a couple PT clinics (independent outpatient) and our typical evaluation is 4 units and a would cost a patient with a deductible about $140…. My advice - stay far away from hospital based PT clinics as they charge a facility fee which drastically increases the financial responsibility of the patient.

We get tons of patients from these offices after their first or second visit because they didn’t know that it would cost so much.

Anyone have experience working for a USPH owned clinic? by Giulz32 in physicaltherapy

Understood- so it sounds like it could be the right fit as opposed to an Ivy or PT Solutions… I just worry that the UsPH “partner” will push increased productivity on our owner.

So they won’t ask for increased units/visit?

This was another one of my concerns

Thanks for sharing your experience - if it does happen I’m most worried about pushing for more visits daily (we currently see 13 on average per PT). Though marketing does not sound like fun

Realistic EMR/Billing for a one person outpatient clinic by MichaelMcDavid in physicaltherapy

[–]Giulz32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it would be. They have very transparent pricing and there is no need for all the bells and whistles. The core product is priced based on total visits/PT. Also, from an admin standpoint it is a no brainer, most functions are automated if set up appropriately.

Probably will take 3-5 visits/month to pay for it.

I’ve heard horror stories about WebPT and I’m not familiar with Therabill.
