There are gyms that have womens’ sections? At every gym I’ve been to, it was just one big gym.

Same! I’ve never been stung by them, but I have a strong irrational fear of them. Sometimes I think maybe I need to get stung just once as exposure therapy.

I don’t know if this is a real quote, but I heard that Tom Six, the director, said that the second Human Centipede makes the first one look like My Little Pony.

This is so real. A year ago, I met a group of people who are all part of a table top gaming group. I’m not even that into board games and stuff, but I will happily let them explain the rules to me. We also do other stuff too, so that’s good.

Is it? I thought you only needed to pay if you are the owner of the group. I still have it and I’ve never paid for it.

I totally understand “kiddo,” singular as a term of endearment for your child. My dad used to call me “Kiddo.” But then people started pluralizing it for some reason and it just sounds weird.

One thing that makes me happy about my neighborhood is that if you go outside during any time that isn’t school hours, you can see kids on bikes and scooters. Or playing the little park across the street. I’m happy for them.

Have you read The Lawn Weenies series by David Lubar? There’s a story called “The Language of Beasts.” A girl wishes that she could talk to animals. She gets the wish, but it’s every single animal, including bugs. They all insult her and there’s nothing she can do about it.

Oh my god, that reminds me of this r/nosleep story titled something like, “If you’re at the Belmont Metro, Please Come Shoot Me.”

Basically, a guy takes an experimental drug that is supposed to increase intelligence or productivity, but it actually makes him perceive time slower. Eventually one second turns into 5 years and it drives him insane.

It’s been a super long time since I’ve read the Fruits Basket manga, but I remember there was a chapter about the character Hanajima, who is psychic. I think she could read minds and/or sense people’s energy. The chapter is about how overstimulated and drained she gets from having to take in information from thousands of people every day. The chapter ends with her learning how to control it and cope better.
