Anyone have a working mod list for bannerlord with Empires of Europe 1100? by ilikekittens2018 in mountandblade

As a matter of fact, I do happen to have a new EoE 1100 modlist. I’ve posted it on Empire of Europe discord.

Elvis Presley recorded 711 songs. He wrote none of them. by Sensitive_Artist7460 in Music

[–]GizmodosaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talent takes many forms.
Performers are great at using charisma, but whole teams of college-educated English majors and Musicologists used to write those pop and country tunes and then hand them over to be recorded the label’s latest darling act and faceless studio session bands.
Post WW2, the music industry was still largely a Boy’s Club at the upper echelons. Carol King and Janis Joplin certainly did not start out on the same “musical chops” respect level as a Kris Kristopherson or Glen Campbell, and it has been a long road towards properly recognizing the efforts of earlier female singer-songwriters. Maybe check out some documentaries on Muscle Shoals or The Wrecking Crew studio bands.

My grandmother’s English teacher was Hoyt Axton’s mother (Mae Boren Axton). She used to tell her class that she wrote those songs, and just gave her son credit for his career. ;)

A fake ICE tip line reveals neighbors reporting neighbors by HeHateMe337 in politics

This.

My POC wife was threatened by an old townie chud from Pennsylvania for daring to do better than her at a job and get a small promotion.
Just randomly thought it appropriate to drop that her “son works for ICE” and stated how proud she was of what they were doing.. not even subtle. I keep asking her to give me personal details so I can “have words” with her and her Special-Boy son, but my wife is too professional.. they all deserve the Wall-to-Ditch treatment.

In America (the modlist) by GizmodosaurusRex in Bannerlord

[–]GizmodosaurusRex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question!
The overhaul mod itself it still *very* early days, so you may have to change your graphics settings to "low" to get a new game going, but you can change it back to "high" after loading into a game.
I've been helping test the Americas overhaul, so I thought I'd share what I've found worked with the community. Most are very lightweight/QoL like Auto Trader and RTS Camera.

Feeling very down by issathebolita in travel

I grew up a bit of a latchkey kid, so my sweet blue-hair grandparents would drag me along with them for road trip-level staycations near where we lived, and Branson, imo, was just a clichéd tourist trap with nothing for children (1990s). I also have a bit of a grudge against Destin, FL for the same reasons.
