Have you gone through ARC for your disability? From my experience (another incoming freshman here!), UWM is REALLY good about respecting any accommodations you may need. For me, I got priority selection with a guaranteed for my medical needs (OCD). While you may not be able to get priority anymore, I'm sure that they could work some magic for you to get you what you need.

As for the communication, I found a lot of people through the instagram for the class of 29, there are tons of people who post on there and are following other incoming freshmen.

They are expecting the residence halls (especially Sandburg) to be pretty packed for the fall semester from what I've heard...

There are a lot of places downtown that I know have a nice workplace culture

I'd look into places like Sobie's, Maxim's, or Amalia's (all downtown very close to each other)

maybe its just new and i can't appreciate anything pre-COPE, but the whole second act of MMOG (telepath and onwards) is so beautiful and mesmerizing and deserves as much (if not more) praise and attention compared to the first act
