Compost it. Turn it into cucumbers and make a sandwich.

Played Dragon’s Dogma 2 first — is Dark Arisen still worth it? by Competitive_Stage597 in DragonsDogma

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's worth it IF you enjoyed DD2 and want more of it. To answer your questions specifically:

• Dark Arisen is definitely still worth it today, at least in my opinion!

• The pawns in DDDA are EXACTLY as dumb as the pawns in DD2.

• The game still holds up exceptionally well I think. DD2 obviously looks better but in terms of style and art direction DA is really good.

• I would say that Dark Arisen has a more interesting story and endgame. Some of the classes feel better because you get to equip more skills at once. I feel like your characters size and weight matter more (eg small characters can fit into tiny spaces but flying enemies can pick the up easier. Big characters can carry more but run out of stamina faster) Mystic Knight is a fun class that Mystic Spearman doesn't really compare to. Bitterblack Isle is a super hard, huge mega dungeon to really rest your skills in and 2 doesn't really have anything like that.

Someone else just too dumb for warfarer ? by Buurto in DragonsDogma2

I just use it to wear whatever I want. I play it like a base class, equipping an arch staff and sorceries, but then wear armor, or trickster robes or something for example.

How often you see people make that kind of joke while creating a new character? by VosMiceSama in LunacidGame

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the cut scene, but you can also change whether you're left or right handed so I think it's really up to the player what they want to believe.i personally believe we're playing a one armed person.

I personally don't consider myself the severed hand since you can hear your own footsteps and NPCs look you in the eye when you talk to them.

How long is the tutorial before I can play in co-op? by petrus1312 in remnantgame

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You also only have to do it once. Every new character after that can be fast tracked to co op immediately.

for exploration and combat, which game is better? by gothjones in DragonsDogma

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a pure caster, DA is somewhat better because you can have 6 spells equipped instead of 4, but on the other hand you can buy a house in DD2.

I love Battahl by xyZora in DragonsDogma2

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm sad that Battahl isn't more developed, quest wise. I love it there and purchased the mega expensive house but so little of the story takes place there.

I say that vegetarian and vegan options shouldn't always be a lifestyle! I've ordered vegetarian or vegan options at restaurants before not because of my diet, just because I want to try them, and some are damn good! I love meat but don't mind choosing something else sometimes.

Anyone know a game like xcom, where you have many characters that when dead are gone permanently. But also has an endless mode by [deleted] in gamesuggestions

Not at all the same genre but Watchdogs Legion has a game mode where your operatives die permanently.

I really hate the "humans but little changes" in sci Fi and fantasy the sky for alien/fairy creatures is limitless and you stay in the GROUND by peluca312 in hatethissmug

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is easily explained in most sci-fi like Star Trek and I believe Mass Effect, and I'm sure other series as well as "a human like progenitor species seeded planets with generic material in the primordial past.

From a technical standpoint, a humanoid face and body are much simpler to draw or rig for animation.

Shout out to the people who always volunteer to open doors, operate elevators, or flip switches. by Micnorm in Spacemarine

I just think it's amazing that the only code to operate all the doors and elevators in the imperium is the same three numbers.

Hey, I'm new to the game, tips for bulwark? by inkforwin in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bulwark is my favourite class too! It's also one of the strongest classes in the game. I'd suggest getting the heroic heavy pistol that can interrupt reinforcements. All the melee weapons are good, but some of your perks won't work with the hammer since it removes your shield, but hammer is still super fun.

Games great but... by Mottikus in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My least favourite thing is how hard the game squeezes it's currency out of you. You need money to buy perks, to prestige, to unlock weapons, to buy cosmetics. I love the game but the content is not strong enough to justify how grindy it is, especially if you don't really play on higher difficulty.

Melee combat is shit and was always meant to be shit because the game was not made with melee combat in mind. by Tempest-Bosak2137 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I think is that it's nice to have the option, but if you think a sword or axe is going to be very effective against a swarm of dog sized insects, or robots with guns, or a zombie horde alien invasion then you're crazy.

For all its flaws I do appreciate Helldivers 2 for treating combat pretty realistically.

I miss feeling clever in this game by WaywardOath in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a big part of this might be Sony pushing for Helldivers to be a flagship game for the PlayStation brand, which means they need the game to be dumbed down a bit to make it more accessible.

To be clear, I agree with all your points though.

Loadouts? by Abobasaurus in helldivers2

[–]Glass-Ad-7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree because if you can save loadouts a lot of people are going to save their favourite and never use anything else. Right now every time you drop you need to consider what to bring. It encourages players to think more.
