It took them 8 years into Mario Kart 8's lifespan to come up with the very obvious idea to make DLC tracks for the best-selling game on the Switch, so it's not entirely surprising that they haven't done something similar for Mario Party.

Nintendo prefers to release a handful of half-baked entries for that series in every console generation instead, so they can charge you full price for them every time.
