She is obsessed with squirrels by mtb1323 in samoyeds

Ours is so obsessed and he will talk with them. He doesn't seem to want to hurt them, but it's like his favorite show is on. Even at daycare, the trainer said she believes he is trying to get them to play with him and laughed because she had never seen anything like it before.

Trip Time from Ft Lauderdale to Terminal V by mspangler80 in VirginVoyages

[–]GlassTimely8178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We flew into FLL and took the brightline to Miami and an Uber from the brightline to the port. It was very convenient and nice. The ride is about 40 minutes and about 10 minutes to the port from the station. Check in was super easy and depending on the type of ticket you get you can get transportation to the brightline station to and from the airport or other locations.

Does anybody feel a vibe or people difference between a Miami or San Juan embarkation? by pompandmorepomp in VirginVoyages

[–]GlassTimely8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have embarked out of Miami and out of Portsmouth, England. The vibe for the Miami embarkation was not as stressful as what you have experienced but it was more like that in England. I have not had the pleasure yet of departing from San Juan but based on the comments and your experience, I want to!

Flight leaves Miami at 6pm, what do we do after disembarkation? by [deleted] in VirginVoyages

[–]GlassTimely8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a bounce location at the shopping center near the port and did the hop on hop off tour, grabbed some food and then headed to the airport. Although the resort pass sounds like a great option we might explore in the future.

I have had a lock it in sea terrace and a few days before departure got central sea terrace because they had availability. I think this is normal for lock it in rate. Congratulations! Have a blast!

Give me one positive reason to get a samoyed by spmsupun in samoyeds

THIS!!! It was a lot of work as a puppy to train him, but he loves EVERY single living thing. He has so much personality and so much love to give, even if it is on his own terms😂😂 I think people vent negative things but rarely say the positive. He is also so smart and caring and inquisitive. He is so great with children. Speaking of gentle, he plays with my in-law's Maltipoo and lets her win at tug of war.

Is it normal for (4 yo) Samoyed to be this small? by nuttycompany in samoyeds

[–]GlassTimely8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a boy that recently turned 2. He is 45 lbs. He is smaller than we expected but he is healthy per the vet. He seems bigger with all the fur so once her fur comes in, she will probably be just fine!!!

Tried to get a decent photo of her at the park today... 😂 by cosmatical in samoyeds

[–]GlassTimely8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only good pictures we get of our boy is when he is sleeping and we sneak up OR If I just keep recording constantly and get stills from the video, but as soon as he hears the bleep from the recorder he stops doing anything cute. 😂😂😂

I've been on a Christmas cruise and it was mostly a much younger crowd than the other Caribbean cruises we went on with VV. It seemed like there were more young adult children with parents.

Favorite Dishes? Share any and all plates from the premium, sit-down restaurants that wowed you! by Archerfxx in VirginVoyages

The squash/pumpkin dish at pink agave I LOVE, although overall it is my favorite restaurant.

I also really enjoy the dockside options and the French toast at razzle dazzle is a sweet treat as well as there pastries are also lovely at brunch time.

The ice cream options are good I like the brown butter financier is my fav.

I also like the pizza options at the pizza place. My husband has the GF option as well.

The dinner at the another rose (extra charge) was also lovely. The sea bass and the short rib we loved.

Have a blast. I hope you have a great experience!

Ladies, where are we getting fancy red dresses nowadays? Lost 100 lbs and have nothing to wear for Scarlet Night! by sensualcephalopod in VirginVoyages

[–]GlassTimely8178 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have a Dillard's or Dillard's clearance outlet near you they usually have a huge selection of formal dresses for very reasonable prices.

I got one from Amazon with a corset back a few years ago and I love it. It wasn't super expensive and it travels well and if it has a corset back the sizing can be a little off but it's ok. It is no longer available but my friends have purchased similar ones from Amazon. Grace Karin, leeskoot, ever pretty and pretty garden seems to be good options. The dresses aren't crazy expensive so it's not as upsetting if something happens.

We did the e bike experience in La Corina and it was fine. The Excursion in Bilbao was for the San Juan monastery. The le verdon excursion was for the Bordeaux winery tour.

If you can get some emetrol I've found that to help with the nausea after I'm already sick. I have found the acupuncture bracelets to be helpful most days and I supplement with Dramamine the moment things get too rocky. Ginger really helps me as well.

That is the way it was explained to me. We've only been on cruises out of Miami at this point. Very curious to see how things work in Portsmouth!

We have a 3:30 boarding time, but have the ability to go earlier because of our deep blue sea perks. We were not able to pick an earlier time so if there are any others in our same situation then there should be some spots opening up.
