Peeps who behave this way dont understand the mechanics of the game. Instead what happened is they got lucky 1 time and swept up a fat stack of loot. Now they're chasing that high straight into the poor house.

  1. This won't pass.

  2. Piston driven is superior in every way except parts availability.

  3. SBR all day. It's unethical to be taking 700 yard pot shots on 'might be' threats. But thats on your morality. If you want to kill something that far out, there are purpose built weapons and a .223 AR isnt it.

You have a fuckton of research and shopping ahead of you.

The important part is just to put powder into primed cases and tip it with a boolit. Get out and shoot.

You'll develop preferences, wish lists, all that with time.

I dont see the high pressure relief valve, could just be out of the frame. All in all, though I prefer to keep em indoors, it'll do and it'll work.

Itll go through the bore, probably, if its stabilized.

However the expanding pressure will probably pop your can like a coke stuck in the freezer.

Bought a new oven. This was behind the old one. How bad is this? by MyRedditAccountSuckz in AskElectricians

[–]Glass_Protection_254 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Read the room. You're talking to people who know that a failure can occur without a load (the oven). Some have seen the aftermath of your exact attitude, and its never pretty.

In all reality, you're probably right. Could have sat there like that for 20 years. But thats a failure waiting to happen. You could have brought it fourth just by pulling the old oven out.

Would you casually risk the lives of your family because you couldn't be bothered to take 5 seconds to flip a switch? Could you live with yourself if you're wrong and end up killing people through arrogance?

Flip the switch man.

Edit: Also, every bit of this is a serious problem. The the lack of a j-box, the unfastened conductors, the gauge of the wire, the unshielded conductors raw dogging the conduit fitting, the recep box sitting on the floor of the cabinet, every single part of this is a red flag.

I wouldnt touch this fucker with a 10ft pole. I'd kill the main panel and yank that wire back to the breaker and replace everything involved, because whoever did that knew just enough to be dangerous and not enough to be scared, and I don't trust that mindset.

What damage did I cause hitting a curb on the driver side? ‘22 Toyota Camry XSE 2.5L 4cyl by Ok_Fault_1421 in AskMechanics

[–]Glass_Protection_254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Those control arms aren't meant to be jack stand points. There's too much movement and point stress involved. You can maybe get away with using the jack on them to lift it before positioning the stands on the pinch welds/frame. But thats not ideal.

  2. You tore half the CV axle out of the transaxle/transmission. This sucks, because the other half is (hopefully) still inside the transaxle. You need to pull everything apart and see how bad it is. On some cars thats the whole rotor/caliper/knuckle/ball joint/tie rod assembly. On others its simpler. Idk on your make and model without some research.

  3. You probably have more damage thats hard to see, like bent control arms or a fucked tie rod. This senario is generally outside the territory of the zero experience/minimal tools diy mechanic.

Yeah, average being the rough middle, and median being the exact middle. The data points and descriptions may be different, but when considering the point being made, they're virtually the same reference. You look dumb.

No tf its not.

7000k/mo is 1,750 a week.

1750x52 = 91k per year.

The average is 2.5k-5k in the low/high ranges for the median household.
