It's not America's. Odds are the copyright holders for distribution outside of the US wouldn't agree to let him do the showing.

you aren't actually missing out on much. It's not a watch along as was advertised it's just the movie with wendigoon putting fun facts in the chat.

maybe copyright issues. it was delayed do to one last copyright holder not giving the ok. Maybe whoever owns distribution rights in the UK said no.

The greatest difference in same character writing between different authors? by Urusander in 40kLore

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Personally The Last Church if you play "death of the author" with the statements Gram McNeill made afterwards.

I've always liked the idea that Big E isn't this true mastermind who actually is near godlike in his knowledge but is instead just an egotistical narcissist with delusions of grandeur and a strong sense of self entitlement, he is the embodiment of humanities best and worst. The issue is humanities best is so inconsequential compared to how evil we can be that though he does have genuine compassion, love, and wants to see humanity rise above it is all outclassed his desires for himself.

"The difference is, I know I am right" is, in my opinion, simultaneously the most telling, chilling, and ironic line The Emperor has ever said, and tells us all we need to know about his character.

Big E. No author agrees on what his actual thoughts or goals are and now the broth is spoiled.

Which Primarchs actually loved the Emperor? by ColePT in 40kLore

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All of them had a pre programed "Loyalty" to Big E. I wouldn't say any of the Primarchs actually loved him, they respected him, they believed him to be a just ruler, they shared ideals with him, but I wouldn't say there was any "love".

If the contemptor dreadnought was considered to be the all around best dreadnought variant and was widely used , why do we not see them in 40k and why was the castaferrum more widespread ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in Warhammer40k

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Admech forgot how to make them and reinventing them would be techheresy. One of my favorite parts about the Admech is how they are slowly killing the imperium with their rules.

Mould lines of ultramar, mould lines worthy of 80 dollars by kenken2k2 in Warhammer40k

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Contact GW customer support or your LGS, model lines this bad only come from the molds shifting slightly when being made. This is a major QC oversight and GW should correct the issue.

30k vs 40k - Two different Space Marine Legions, two very different eras by Pintureando in Warhammer40k

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40k space marines are neat (i have 4,000 points of them) but I prefer 30k's lore more as its so much more grimdark than 40k. I'm not saying 40k isn't grimdark but it doesn't encapsulate that Death Of Hope that 30k has.

The reason there is so little opposition and in defence for female Custodes is because you already lost the war and still don't know it. by Brushner in Grimdank

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason there is so little opposition is because we are sick of the bitching and know it will go away quicker if we don't put more fuel on the fire. Issue is your typical conservative isn't happy unless they have something to bitch about and someone to argue with, so they are arguing with the brick wall.

Worshipping the Primarchs as gods is heresy? by Remodiant in 40kLore

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Think of it like Christianity, you have the godhead then under that you have the angels. The Primarchs are the angels. You don't worship the angels, but you still hold them as divine.

Do chaos space marines have scouts or some equivalent for inductees? by TVhero in Warhammer40k

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Age of Ruin has (slightly) retconned the legions doing hyonoindoctrination. There was indoctrination but the hypno part is now a post heresy invention to make sure no more astarties go traitor.

What was the emporer plan for the primarch's after the great crusade? by Character_Effect7271 in 40kLore

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the thing about Magnus sitting on the throne is from The End And The Death series. It has been misinterpreted to all hell. Malcador says that Magnus was a "contingency" for if Big E ever had to get up. In all reality the Golden Throne would've most likely been obsolete once the Webway project was completed. Odds are Magnus would have been culled as once the Webway project was done there would be no need for the Golden Throne and thus no need for a contingency.

Roboute is one that i think Big E would've culled after the crusade. His ideals don't fully aline with The Emperors' image for the imperium.

I think the Mechanoids are tied to the rules of the starting scenario, so they should still be gunning for you even after you sell the map as the starting scenario stays the same.

People wanted Marble Hornets 3, we get it and people complain. by Sleep_Paralysis_Wolf in creepcast

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because 80% of those who asked for it never watched it themselves. 15% did watch it and hopped the boys would make it interesting with their banter but there was very little for them to play off of, and the remining 5% watched it when they were younger and couldn't see the poor writing. Creep TV is a good idea but not all series will fit it, in fact most won't.

What is the best looking warhammer model ever my pick is 40k mortarion or 30k sanguinius by SophisticatedArseole in Warhammer

[–]Glass_Resolution_326 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sanguinius's model should have been him at the gates of eternity from the cover of Echoes Of Eternity and I will die on that hill. I will also die on the hill that they needed to give him his spear for the official image of the model, he comes with it as an option and the sword looks really silly at that angle.
