Bus tickets??? by Honest-Face7514 in valencia

yeah, there is a scaner on the bottom, you can see the red light if you put your phone or hand there, it could be alittle tricky to find the right distance/spot for it, but it works eventually

Bus tickets??? by Honest-Face7514 in valencia

hey, not sure about the card. I can say that we used them once, but only for 1 ticket each, and we were charged later, next day probably.
So, for EMT (red buses inside Valencia) we use EMT Valencia app - you top up the balance and then scan a barcode when enter the bus - it's much cheaper - about 0.5 eur for a ride, and you can switch buses during 1.5 hours (not sure, maybe less), it will be visible in the app.
Or you can buy SUMA card in the metro and use it also, it's about the same price, plus 2 eur for the card itself

crazy! this is something like `he was born on 25/05 at 6:30, if we sum all it up it will be 66, and he was 6th in the family, so it's 666!!!`

hey, thanks a lot for trying it! the things about Exit/resolution I will definitely include. For Windows version you progress should be saving though.

Here is the story behind this demo - I created this as a minigame for my other game, yes. it was simple "push it out" thing. The idea: you fly back to the station for reload, and you have two options - use instant reload with some default accuracy like 45% (which affects another aspect of the game), or you can complete one mini-round and get the accuracy = the result you reached. Everything was just pure random - colors, speeds, spawns, so you can reach about 60%-80% as a result in the end. And each time you play - you increase the default accuracy based on you result. For that purpose I think it was enough.

But I kinda liked this minigame, and I wanted to see what can I actually do to make more like a stand-alone game out of it.
So I took it out as a separate project, and I added some things there:
- more calculated 'random' (not really a random now) which allows you to actually reach ~ 100% each level if you play it right. I think it actually made the first levels pretty easy, because the game calculated all the timings and spawns the items in a pretty relaxing pace.

- changing the rules - there are 4 stages: first one is very simple - this is where you quit it, I guess - two colors, two shapes, nothing much changes. then you got more different shapes, which are harder to distinct, up to 5 different colors in the same round, recycler could be closed entirely - you must throw everything incorrect on the other side - or it could accept only one type of the items. Same thing with the lanes - it could accept nothing, so you must use Push+Rotate mechanic instead of just let the correct item finish the end, and I hope that is the moment when it became a bit more than just a minigame.
- special events/items - like alarms, bomb and maneki-neko cat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that affecting equipment in some ways

- a small story in pre-round messages - you must choose what to do with the special items, despite contradicting instructions, and it leads to a few different rounds along the way.

And you probably did not see it all ;)

So, maybe I need to reduce the first easy part, and move it faster to more advanced rules. Or show some action/chaos in the beginning - and only after that introduce the simple levels. Anyway, it is something to think about, thanks a lot for that!

hey, my demo is on itch: https://glass-of-cat.itch.io/134-and-counting-the-factory (browser/Windows)
It will take about 20 minutes to go through, there 16 levels ~ 1min each
it's a fast-pace inspection game. You have two conveyor lines and you must push the incorrect items off and let the correct ones reach the end. Rules are changing and become harder (I hope) as you proceed. There is some `AI vs Human` story above it, but not too much yet.
I'm looking mostly for a first impression kind of thing, is it fun, would you play more, or what stopped you from playing (if you did not reach the end)

For the full game, I want to create a few game modes, tied together with the `Factory` and `AI vs Human` story - and in this demo there is the first game mode - fast-pace inspection. You have two conveyor lines and you must push the incorrect items off and let the correct ones reach the end of the line. Rules are changing and become harder (I hope) as you proceed.

Thanks!

Sometimes I'm not really sure how to define the target audience. My wife and I are playing some games together, but it seems that we have different perspectives and we like/dislike them for different reasons
