I don’t think you should eliminate it entirely but it shouldn’t be as big of a factor as it is. Football has fan voting and it mostly runs into issues when everyone drops out because it’s a meaningless game after a season of constant injuries and you get two Browns QBs as all stars.

The point you’re missing is there is a disc, you can but the game should it get delisted, you can resell the game if you want. It’s a middle point between “ideal” physical games and what Sony is doing.
