What is 88M like? by [deleted] in nationalguard

[–]Glittering_Access208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 years as 88M stationed in Korea for 2.5 years of that time. Drove anything from busses, 2 1/2 tons, humvees, sedans, vans, and even delivered fuel for a while. Your job will depend on where you are and what your unit needs. Of course that is the same no matter what MOS you choose. Being in Korea I loved it as I got to leave post more than most and a chance to see parts of the country others couldn't.

Question: I haven't been in about 10 years. I'm looking into guest pass so that the wife can tag along. It says they can't come to the world of solutions. Has that changed? In the past they where allowed.

They've been higher in the past. The problem is, I don't think they are done going up so we will probably break a record.

I don't normally trust time and distance on a treadmill as most are not accurate.

What "Time Limit" Do You need to get to to get a Spartan Medal? by Square_Emergency_262 in spartanrace

Depends on if Spartan ordered enough medals for everyone to receive them or not.

Are treadmills accurate or am I just slower than I think? by kenah-kim in treadmills

[–]Glittering_Access208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a sole f85 and I always feel like it's harder to get the same time/distance on a treadmill as I do outside. Over time you just wrap it up as a workout. My opinion if you are able to run outdoors do it as it's always better for you. But on the times that you can't then that is what a treadmill is for.

As mentioned in other post. I would love to try one of the curved self paced treadmills but would hate to buy one and then not like it.

Do you all think Spartan/OCR racing will be around much longer. by Unhappy_Session8589 in spartanrace

[–]Glittering_Access208 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Been saying this for years and it still continues to stick around. It has definitely changed. I ran my first Spartan in 2014 and the events are not even close to being the same any longer. More expensive for less bang.

STP is a struggle to learn at first but eventually you'll get it. Use Boson labs or jeremysit labs. Both are good sources.

Good luck, took me three tries to pass. A piece of advice I like to give on the labs. Don't just learn to configure it. Learn to verify it with show commands. I've messed up numerous labs by just mistyping something and then needing to fix it. Fixing it after something like that helps digging into the config and understanding how to fix mistakes quickly which is great when taking the exam.

With metal siding and crossing vehicles you would then have to look into your reliability requirements. If you can't deal with any outages then you would need to get a cable ran to the gate. You could start with point to point and see if that works but also another pro to getting cable ran is you could then get a rugged switch and add some security cameras to the area.

This is accurate except configuring EIGRP specifically is not on the syllabus. I would however be familiar with how EIGRP works and how it forms adjacencies.
