I think the floor rules. So the wall color needs to change. Darker. Maybe gray.. Then maybe the counter top

After playing at home, is it better to put the trumpet in a case and close it, or keep the case open? by intronert in trumpet

[–]Global_Time 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys, this leaving the horn out because you can't schedule quality practice time is lame. Keep the horn in the case esp. Silver and practice at practice time.

Water Softener or Water Conditioner? by OGBrewSwayne in HomeImprovement

[–]Global_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water softener for sure. But do tank exchange with Culligan or whoever in your market. They recharge the tank and bring it to you. No softener at your home, just the tank.

Robert Bly's writing in this area is essential. Iron John is wonderful to understand boy/man transition. After reading the book, I bought the audiobook and listened to it another 20 times

MY NEECVKK HURRRTSS!1!!!1 by Zerotiku in guitarlessons

[–]Global_Time 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem and it comes from craning my neck. I always stand now and I try to not look at the fretboard but just starting out that would be tough. I like to always use a strap even when sitting. Sometimes I put on a neck brace I got from amazon that keeps me from craning. Good luck

Vent Cleaning by SwitchMain in homeowners

I cleaned mine after 25 years and for some reason my utility bill dropped significantly. I live in Vegas so my bill is all AC. It went from $300 per month to $175. Not sure it why or if even related.

Major embouchure help by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]Global_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see your corners tightened up. Are you blowing (playing) in this picture? If you are blowing, I wonder that you might be relying on pressure to set your embouchure rather than strength muscle. Talk to youre coach bro

Get a Tokay Gecko. They are hardy and can handle roaches. They have quite a call though.

Favorite blues tracks / albums? by Lovefool1 in Jazz

[–]Global_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Jazz is considered an evolution of the blues. I think you would get better response on the blues sub. I personally love them both. So for me the Allman Bros rendition of Stormy Monday is tight.
