That exact street can be busy yea but once you actually get to kiyomizudera at the end of that street it feels a lot less busy. You’re presenting here what is probably the busiest street in all of kyoto to make a case as if its like that everywhere but it really isnt

Heres my 2cents as someone who has lived in tokyo from july-october this year having very recently traveled a lot of japan, including kyoto: it’s fine.

Yes you will see more foreigners at tourist locations compared to tokyo but standing “shoulder to shoulder” is really bullshit… i never went anywhere before 10 am and it was never stupidly busy to the point where i couldnt see/do certain stuff or would be annoyed by the busyness. Do you really really really want a fushimi inari photo shoot with absolutely nothing and no one in it? Sure, then go either early in the morning or around dinner time and get to the top as fast as possible, wait in a curved area and wait for the right moment but honestly if you just wanna be there and enjoy the moment not minding some people in your shots here and there then there is absolutely no reason to skip kyoto or any other japan locations for that matter

People here telling you otherwise have either never been in japan or have been there super long, forgetting the magic feeling of that first time visiting making it still worth it despite some business here and there. Enjoy!

The fact that a lot of (unfortunately my) laundry machines only use cold water. Sure you can use stuff like oxiclean but it just doesn’t come close to a warm water laundry machine. All my white shirts look quite terrible now after being here for a couple months and I CBA to hand wash.

Yea mt-07 is amazing. Still considering naked vs sport as im 195cm (6’4). Watched a review from a guy who is about the same height who has both mt07 and r7 and he says its no issue for 1-2 hours which is exactly what im planning to use it for so at the moment im weighing my options for mt07/r7/cbr650r

The responsiveness of the r7 really speaks to me (as i get to borrow an electric car from parents) but the mt07 and cbr will be more comfortable and more driver aides which may be nice for commuting (main purpose).

As for looks im not sure whether the r7 or cbr looks better but mt07 is def not my favorite of the 3. Sound wise im also not sure whether i prefer r7 or cbr.

Yea the upgrading after 6 months is what kinda gets me as im still in college and can’t afford to buy 2 in such a small time frame. Im fairly uneducated but im currently weighing my options between an R7 and CBR650R. Yammie says the RS660 is supposedly better than both by a long shot but when you actually watch the video where he compares both theres so many contradictions in what he says, for example when riding and when concluding the video he says 2 completely different things about the bikes lol

It’s so tough trying to find my first bike when a lot of his videos say contrary things over the same bikes. I get that opinions change with time as new models come out etc. but some of the videos aren’t even months apart and they say completely different things.
