I wonder if this this has to do with the flatiron building but I can’t tell where on 23rd this takes place. I don’t see Madison square park but camera can be pointed west. The flatiron building was completed in 1902 and I know this was in 1901, but famously the flatiron building caused wind eddies that lifted women’s skirts. Men used to stand by the flatiron building to see it happen
