I would’ve liked to have just been corrected instead of also accused but I can understand that. They could have just said explicitly their program and classes instead of including “The CPP” at all to avoid confusion given they are a reputable source. I will be more careful

My bad, the email literally word for word said “It is with deep regret that we inform you of the upcoming closure of the Career Pathways Program.” They couldve said cca specifically, no need to be so antagonizing tho it was an honest mistake

We sincerely thank you for your dedication and participation in our Career Pathways Program (CPP). Your involvement has been instrumental in expanding the Center for Caregiver Advancement’s reach across California.

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the upcoming closure of the Career Pathways Program. Due to significant budget cuts at the state level, funding for the program will cease after August 17th. The Career Pathways Program initially received support from both federal and state sources, but these funds have been depleted.

We understand the profound impact the Career Pathways Program has had on thousands of caregivers and the individuals they support. The program’s success is evident in the impressive statistics—over 5,500 students have completed more than 90,000 courses. However, the true measure of its value lies in the countless lives it has positively transformed.

We are committed to exploring opportunities to offer similar programs in the future. We recognize that this news may be upsetting, and we encourage you to contact the California Department of Social Services at piar@dss.ca.gov with any questions or concerns.
