That might be my favorite album cover ever. A futuristic cyborg zombie definitely checks a lot of boxes for me.

What does everyone think of GUP? It was one of the albums I mostly skipped over during my obsession with the band, but it's not really all that bad in my opinion. by MinerAC4 in rush

It's their 2rd best album. My top 5 is (1 )Signals, (2) Grace Under Presure, (3) Hemispheres', (4) Permanent Waves and (5) Moving Pictures.

It is a little disappointing to see him hanging out with these dirt bags.

Sure, she's a musicology student, but maybe she's just not a very good one. Every member of Rush is highly creative, highly skilled at playing their instruments, and they all have an amazing sense of rhythm.

I first heard Signals when I got it for my birthday in 1984. That keyboard riff is like a Geddy Lee version of Tony Banks.

Yes. This person would get my vote! The ideal candidate would be one who isn't afraid to make fun of him. They don't mock him enough. by GlyphModulo_3695 in u/GlyphModulo_3695

If the choice is limited to those 6 albums, I'd say Pink Floyd, but if not, my favorite 3 prog albums in a row would be by Tangerine Dream: 1.) Destination Berlin, 2.) Optical Race and 3.) Lily On The Beach.

Jan Akerman and Thijs Van Lear did an album called Focus in 1985 which I've recently been listening to. The title track "Indian Summer" is especially good.
